November Prisoner’s Sunday. Many prisoners sadly are the victims of their upbringing and the company they fall into.

Remembering prisoners today we pray for them and their families. We also hope that as a result of their imprisonment may bring healing to their lives and a

wish to build a better future for themselves. We must also remember and pray today for the

victims of crime.

The Legion of Mary. Who are those Legion of Mary Groups? The Legion of Mary is a Catholic Lay Association started by a Dublin man Frank Duff over 90 years ago. The first meeting was held in Myra House, Francis St, so it started as an inner city project, entrusted to the patronage of Mary, our Mother.

Mary continues to be our patron and we do everything in close union with Her. She is our role model.

The Legion is needed more than ever in our secularised society. The hope, joy and love of Jesus is a special gift we have received through Baptism and we are called to share with others. We have regular meetings and go out in pairs to do

some apostolic work.

So do you have some time to join us and share your caring and compassion to those who appreciate a friendly smile, a word of hope and encouragement? We need you, we welcome you to come and see. We are based in

Crumlin, so please come along to one of our meetings
