Established in 1950, Gorenje is one of the fifth largest household appliances manufacturers in

Environmentally Friendly Products

Today at Gorenje, energy used for the production of an appliance is ten times less than in 2000, despite the fact that appliances are now far more

technologically advanced. In today’s consumer driven society, household appliances are often purchased on price and appearance, rather than the

impact on the environment of the production process, energy usage of the appliance, and when it reaches the end of its life, how much can be

recycled. Appliances which are over ten years old may still continue to work, but they consume energy on average 25% higher than a similar appli-

ance produced today. In Europe there are 188 million household appliances in use, over 10 years old, replacing them would be good for the envi-

ronment as well as offering significant cost savings in reduced energy use. Refrigerators and freezers are switched on 24 hours a day, 365 days a

year. A new refrigerator of the lowest energy class consumes only a quarter of the electricity used on average by a refrigerator purchased in the

1990’s. Annual consumption of a 1990 refrigerator amounts to approx £100, which means £1500 in 15 years. Annual electricity consumption of a

new refrigerator of the lowest energy class is only approx £25 per year or £375 over 15 years. Lower consumption of electricity and consequent-

ly lower energy bills means money can be saved each year. In this way each of us can personally contribute to reduce the CO2 emissions into the

atmosphere and thus protect the environment.

Suitabitlity of pots for cooking on induction hobs can be checked with a magnet.

Cookware has to have a ferromagnetic bottorm which enables establishing a magnetic field and consequent heating

of pot’s bottom. If magnet stays withhold on the pot’s bottom the pot is suitable for use with induction hob.

Ora-ïto White

PowerBoostInduction hobs are much faster and consume less energy than ordinary Gas or Ceramic hobs.

That saves time and the nature! 2 litres of water heat from 15 to 90ºC in only 5.7 minutes.

The Powerboost feature further enhances the performance of the induction cooker, delivering

additional time savings. You can easily activate the Powerboost option by simply touching the

letter P on the control panel.

DirecTOUCH, perfect results at your fingertipsThis innovative patented electronic programme module has virtually revolutionised the touch-screen operation of the

next generation of Gorenje hobs and built-in ovens. Three simple steps is all it takes – cooking has never been easier!

After turning the oven on, make your selection by touching the symbol indicating the dish you want to cook, then

press “Start”. Numerous preset programmes automatically set the right combination of heating elements, tempera-

ture and cooking time. Large and clearly recognizable symbols make the oven easy to use while still leaving you the

freedom to set all cooking parameters (heating element, temperature, cooking time, meat probe) according to your

preferences and cooking ability. Your favourite settings can be stored in the memory and simply recalled when you

use the oven next. A child safety Lock is an additional advantage of the electronic module preventing unsupervised

use of the oven and providing added protection from injury.

FastPreheat, 200° C in 6 minutesAccording to market research, a rapid-preheat function is one of the more desirable oven features. By virtue of the

oven’s special vaulted design and concurrent operation of heating elements it takes only 6 minutes for the oven tem-

perature to reach 200° C. A minimum 30 % time saving means that you can serve your pizzas, cakes and other dis-

hes that require a preheated oven faster than ever before. A built-in light and sound alarm will alert you when the

oven has reached the desired temperature.

Ultra cool doorGorenje ovens are fitted with safe and energy efficient CoolDoors (CD). More sophisticated models feature triple-gla-

zed, heat reflective UltraCoolDoors (UCD). Superior door insulation in conjunction with special reflective glass layers

improves oven performance together with significantly lower energy consumption. A low exterior door temperature

keeps you safe from burns when touching the oven door.

PerfectGrill for a perfect crustThe large upper and the smaller lower infrared heating elements are safely hidden in the depths of the recessed,

vaulted oven ceiling while the difference in their relative heights ensures that food is cooked evenly and perfectly,

every time. In selected models the upper heating element can be tilted down, which makes the oven easier to clean.

WarmPlate, for professional serviceWarmed plates prevent the loss of flavour and ensure that food tastes every bit as good as it should: from soups to

pastas and steamed vegetables. WarmPlate will keep your crockery at precisely the right temperature - anywhere

between 30 and 80°C. Enjoy professional service in the privacy of your home - as you would in the best restaurant

in town!

Gorenje Oven features

AquaCleanOven models Premium and Exclusive additionally feature the highly convenient AquaClean option. Just pour half a litre of tap

water into a baking tray, place it into the cavity and select the AquaClean option. The steam generated by the auto-heat pro-

gramme (70ºC) acts to soften the dirt on the oven walls. After approximately half an hour simply wipe down the oven with a soft

cloth. Using no cleaners whatsoever, the result is astounding as well as environmentally friendly.

Cool oven panels with DynamiCoolingA highly efficient cooling system designed to keep the temperature of oven panels down during the cooking process (DC) as

well as afterwards (DC+) ensures significantly cooler outer surfaces of oven panels. A fan mixes cooler ambient air with the hot

air in the oven, forcing the cooled mixture to circulate right under the exterior panels of the appliance. Once the oven has been

switched off, a heat sensor keeps the fan going until the oven temperature has dropped below 60?C (DC+). By keeping the tem-

perature of the oven panels and door down, DynamiCooling significantly improves the safety of oven cooking.

BigSpace 65L, large oven capacityWith their 65-litre useful capacity Gorenje ovens are among the biggest on the market and can easily accommodate even a 7

kg turkey. Despite its super-size capacity the oven boasts Class A energy rating and is one of the most energy efficient ovens

Telescopic guidesBecause baking / roasting is safer and more efficient. Complete retraction of telewscopic guides provides easy access to baked

products at each of the 3 levels. Filling of oven is simplified, and handling of baked food is safer. Your oven fitted with telesco-

picguides gains capacity, because they provide the option of baking / roasting food at more than one level at the same time.

SuperCoolWhen the SuperCool fast cooling

function is activated, the refrigerator

will provide a boost to the cooling

process, dropping the temperature to

3°C which is nearly half of the usual

temperature. Low temperature, combined with large

capacity, is ideal for rapid cooling of food after major

shopping trips. After six hours, the function is swit-

ched off automatically and the refrigerator compart-

ment temperature returns to the initial setting.

Fast-freeze option for larger quantities of food Fast-freeze option is appropriate for freezing of a
