Distributed Laptops to MCA students as early as 2005-2006 thru banks to make them
professional in association with Toshiba make.
Our department was first to implement Wi-Fi technology and cyber cafes in as early
as 2007 even before BHEL and NIT started.
First to install Blades and Rack servers with multi OS facility first time in Trichy in as
early as 2006.
Established a PC assembling Center and support at BUTP to assemble PCs to meet
out the requirements of our University in as early as 2006 -2007. (but it stalled for
some reasons).
Introduced in as early as 2006 Department intercom thru Software Telephony with
just thru Computer Screens, without any Tele-Phone units absolutely free of cost.
Now the technology is obsolete due to Mobile penetration.
through my personal supervision, Incubated 3 companies for our students even
before graduation viz:
o TechCMantix Technologies Pvt Ltd o Bravo solutions o IknowTech Technologies
Launched Research Consortium for Computer Science(RCCS) to promote research
culture among Scholars and Faculty members in the University region.
Social Contributions:
Frequent Blood Donar through Red Cross - donated blood for more than 30 times .
Eye Donar - donated my eyes through Lion’s Club under the knight of blind scheme
Campus director for maintaining clean and green campus
Instrumental for installation of Solar plant 1 MW in the campus thru our Technology
Park and IECD Funds for about 1 crore
Organized an awareness campaign to propagate the evils of Blue Whale game
Played a pivotal role to distribute Cauvery water to the campus
