The powerpoint from a presentation that I did on Google back in 2004 for a college course. Somewhat interesting today. I was a total Google fanboy back then. I like the slide where I predict what's next for Google. Google Browser? Google Instant Messenger? Google OS? Heh.

• September 7, 1998, Google Inc. begins first day as a corporation – Out of a friend’s garage

• Google beta site begins to generate interest with 100,000 queries per day

• Press starts to take notice

$25 Million Dollar Investment

• Still expanding, Google moves to a new office

• Staff reaches 8 people

• Site continues to grow with 500,000 queries per day

• On June 7th, 1999, Google announces it has received a $25 million dollar investment

• Google announces an index increase, becomes largest search engine

• Usage skyrockets to 60 million searches per day
