Blommenholm has a beautiful location beside Solvikbukta bay in the farthest reaches of Oslo fjord, which is 100km long, making it Norway’s fifth longest fjord. In addition to being a key shipping route, Oslo fjord attracts a lot of visitors, from Scandinavia and further afield, looking for recreation and adventure. There are at least 700 bathing spots around the fjord and exciting areas for divers, not to mention owners of boats and summer cottages. But now back to Urban.

Goodtech Solutions has a group of talented engineers working on consult- ancy assignments and projects in various disciplines such as mechanical design, electrical design, PLC pro-gramming and robot programming. Most of our engineers have many years of experience and have very good relationships with customers and clients in and around Karlstad. Valmet, Rolls Royce, Voith Hydro and BAE Systems are some influential customers with high demands in terms of skills and experience of the consultants they use. Several of our consultants have been working for customers over a long time, which is a good sign of customer satisfaction.

Consulting at Goodtech Solutions

OTHER INTERNAL PROJECTSIn addition to helping external custo-mers, our consultants also participate in internal project deliveries for customers in the automotive sector, including Volvo, Scania and Kongsberg Automotive. Smaller robot programming and PLC programming assignments are also performed, creating variety and challenges that develop personnel in a very positive way.

EXCITING NEW PROJECT Goodtech Solutions’ consultants are also working with a very exciting development in the offshore industry with a customer in Oslo. The degree of automation in the offshore industry

is not yet highly developed and the customer has seen the potential of making a highly automated installation of equipment for oil exploration. Our consultants are involved in the development of concepts, mechanical and electrical design, programming and the final construction of the complete plant on the boat. This is a new industry in which the consultants' knowledge and experience will be essential. It should give Goodtech Solutions a springboard into an exciting area of development in coming years.

Team Rynkeby was started in Denmark in 2002 and has become a very well- known charity. The aim of the project is to grow in size, including in Sweden, in order to contribute more money to research and support for the relatives of victims. The activities of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation are dependent on donations and all corporate donations go straight to the foundation without any middlemen. Last year the project had 1,450 participants, and this year there is finally a separate team for Värmland who can raise awareness and collect donations. In 2015 a total of SEK 61.1 million was raised and both Team Rynkeby Värmland and Goodtech Solutions hopes to exceed that amount this year.

Goodtech Solutions sponsors Team RynkebyGoodtech Solutions is supporting the fight against childhood cancer by becoming a Gold sponsor of Team Rynkeby Värmland 2016.
