At a moment in my life when the world is new And the blessing I shall ask is that God will grant me, To be brave and strong and true, And to fill the world with love my whole life through. (Chorus) And to fill the world with love And to fill the world with love And to fill the world with love my whole life through In the noontime of my life I shall look to the sunshine, At a moment in my life when the sky is blue. And the blessing I shall ask shall remain unchanging. To be brave and strong and true, And to fill the world with love my whole life through (Chorus) In the evening of my life I shall look to the sunset, At a moment in my life when the night is due. And the question I shall ask only I can answer. Was I brave and strong and true? Did I fill the world with love my whole life through? (Chorus)

LET US SING TOGETHER AT BREAKFAST

In addition to inspired talks, contemporary briefing, funny anecdotes, quiz and a

hearty breakfast, Light Soul Breakfast will get participants singing together

songs relevant to the program. According to Bro Mel B Libre, “We went

through a list of songs, and found two most fitting, namely “Morning has

Broken” and “Fill the World with Love”.” LSB happens on Saturday 27 April

2013, 8:00am in Pinoy Grill, 3/330 Great North Road,

Henderson, Auckland.

"Morning Has Broken" is a popular and well-known Christian

hymn first published in 1931. It has words by English author

Eleanor Farjeon and is set to a traditional Gaelic tune known as

"Bunessan" Cat Stevens included a version on his 1971 album

Teaser and the Firecat that reached number six on the US pop

chart and number one on the US easy listening chart in 1972.

“Fill the World with Love” composed by Leslie Bricusse was popularized by Petula Clark in

the 1969 film, “Goodbye Mr Chips”. It has since become a staple hymn in masses and

graduation programs.

The lyrics of the songs are found below:

MORNING HAS BROKEN Morning has broken, like the first morning

Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird

Praise for the singing, praise for the morning

Praise for the springing fresh from the word

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven

Like the first dewfall, on the first grass

Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden

Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning

Born of the one light, Eden saw play

Praise with elation, praise every morning

God's recreation of the new day

FILL THE WORLD WITH LOVE

In the morning of

my life I shall look

to the sunrise.

At a moment in my

life when the world

is new

And the blessing I

shall ask is that

God will grant me,

To be brave and strong and true,

And to fill the world with love my whole life

through.

(Chorus)

And to fill the world with love

And to fill the world with love

And to fill the world with love my whole life

through

In the noontime of my life I shall look to the

sunshine,

At a moment in my life when the sky is blue.

And the blessing I shall ask shall remain

unchanging.

To be brave and strong and true,

And to fill the world with love my whole life

through (Chorus)

In the evening of my life I shall look to the

sunset,

At a moment in my life when the night is due.

And the question I shall ask only I can answer.

Was I brave and strong and true?

Did I fill the world with love my whole life through? (Chorus)
