Preparation for out field trip ~ We will look at the traits of a good READ ALOUD and then apply it to a book of your choosing.  At the end of the hour, you will have practiced with a book.

Welcome back!    11­4­15Bell Work:  Another mystery ~ Who  killed Mr. Johnson?  Highlight the clues.    Who can solve the mystery?

Reading Aloud:  Practice with a partner using voices and prosody.  At the end of the hour you will feel more comfortable with your book.

English Grammar 101:  You have one week to get  finished with two posttests.  Do you need to come in after school?

Good Thursday morning! 11­5­15Bell Work:  "The Case of the Purloined Painting."  Find the clues and highlight them.  Why is inside help suspected?

Practicing with your children's book:  Today, in addition to fluency and prosody, you will focus on displaying the book.  Practice how long to show the page.

English Grammar 101:  Continue with your work.  Your goal is TWO post tests by the end of Tuesday.
