Es importante que primero hagan los deberes marcados solos, luego las familias pueden
revisar los deberes con ellos. Me pueden enviar las fotos de los deberes antes o después de
corregirlos, además de consultar las dudas que tenga. Muchas gracias a las familias por
colaborar con nuestro trabajo.
Para el envío de las tareas les vamos a enseñar a utilizar una app para escanear en pdf,
Microsoft Office Lens. El uso de esta aplicación es una sugerencia.
2. Leer, visionar los vídeos y hacer los ejercicios del punto siguiente:
Leer los textos, traducir y apuntar en la libreta el vocabulario que no conocemos (buscar en
el Wordreference). A continuación, vemos los videos y al final hacemos los ejercicios y
copiamos los visual thinking.

1. What's happened in Spain since 1975?
Today, Spain is a democracy. Every four years there are elections to choose the
government. People over 18 years old can vote for the political party that represents
their opinions. The right to vote and other rights are guaranteed by the constitution.
After Juan Carlos became king in 1975, the transition to democracy began. It ended in
1978 with a new constitution. Important reforms were introduced by the prime
minister, Adolfo Suárez.
• AII political parties were made legal.
• There was a democratic election in 1977.
• A new constitution was written.
In 1978 people voted in favour of the constitution in a referendum, so it was adopted.

Since the transition to democracy, two parties have governed Spain at different times:
The Socialist party (PSOE) and the Popular party (PP). Some of the most important
events that have happened during this time are:

The word democracy comes from Greek:
'demos' (people) and 'kratos’ (power). It means rule by the people. It's based on
dialogue and respect for different ideas.

Sleeping Beauty
A long time ago there was a beautiful princess. She lived in a very high tower. A wicked fairy
cast a spell and the princess slept for a hundred years. A big forest grew around the tower. One
day a handsome prince came to the tower. He took his sword and cut the trees. He saw the
princess and woke her with a kiss. The prince married the princess and they lived happily ever
after.
The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time there were three little pigs. One built a house with straw; one made a house
with wood and the other used bricks. One day a big bad wolf came and tried to destroy the
houses. He blew on each house. The houses of straw and wood fell down and he ate the pigs.
The house of bricks was very strong, so the final pig lived a long and happy life.
