WHAT’S INSIDE NEW SOURCES OF INSPIRATION AND PERFORMANCE. Proving that inspiration can come from anywhere,

PING’s latest technology offers unmatched speed,

distance and forgiveness by blending new

innovations and leveraging our rich heritage

A close-up photograph of a dragonfly taken by

Chairman & CEO John A Solheim inspired the

primary innovation in the G drivers – Dragonfly

Technology Inspired by a process called biomimicry,

engineers emulated the dragonfly’s intricate wing

design with a complex, ultra-thin crown pattern

in our longest, most forgiving driver ever

18-wheel semis gave us another idea: Could the

vortex shedders that minimize turbulent wake

behind the big rigs do the same for our G driver

head? Extensive research proved they could Our

own Vortec Technology and crown turbulators

reduce drag to improve aerodynamics

Speed defines the face of the G iron, the beneficiary

of our recent breakthrough, COR-Eye Technology,

and the new specialized heat-treatment process

that achieves thinner, hotter, faster faces

The photograph that launched the G driver.

Faster and more forgiving.

This efficient design inspired us.

Karsten and his groundbreaking Anser.

It’s fitting that in the year we celebrate the 50th birthday

of the Anser putter, founder Karsten Solheim’s open-minded

approach to design inspiration lives on Like he did,

we gather information and ideas from the world around

us to produce golf equipment that changes the game

and stands the test of time

G SF TEC DRIVERStraight-Flight Technology has weight closer to the heel and a lighter swingweight to produce a right-to-left shot bend that helps steer the ball back into the fairway

G LS TEC DRIVERLow-Spin Technology features a CG that is back and extremely low, with a high launch-angle- to-spin ratio for speed with stability The CG is slightly forward of the standard G driver

INSPIRED BY NATURE.Inspired by biomimicry, PING engineers

analyzed the dragonfly’s intricate wing

pattern to design ultra-thin crown sections

for extreme CG and maximized MOI

Dragonfly Technology, Vortec Technology,

turbulators and a strong T9S face created

THE PHYSICS OF FAST

LESS DRAGTurbulators and Vortec Technology contribute to reduce drag 37% in the impact zone, yielding greater clubhead speed and ball velocity for sizeable distance gains from all swing speeds

TURBULATOR TECHNOLOGYTurbulators engineered onto the crown reduce drag at impact for faster clubhead speed and ball velocity

VORTEC VELOCITYVortec Technology™ minimizes turbulent wake during the downswing for faster clubhead speed with improved stability and forgiveness to help generate distance

VARIABLE-THICKNESS T9S FACET9S has a high strength-to-weight ratio, allowing for a thin face to maximize flexing Removing four grams from the face helps position the CG low /back for ideal launch conditions and extreme forgiveness

DRAGONFLY TECHNOLOGYThe highly engineered thin crown pattern saves 8 grams, allowing for a low-back CG and high launch/low spin with extreme MOI for forgiveness At impact, the Ti 8-1-1 body delivers a deep, powerful sound

EXTREME LOW/BACK CGThe lowest, deepest CG of any PING driver generates greater distance by increasing dynamic loft and elevating MOI significantly on both axes for maximizing forgiveness

GOING LOW FOR HIGHER IMPACT.Getting the ball in the air easily is critical with

fairway woods – and is often too challenging

Problem solved With the G series the task is

greatly simplified with a lower lead edge, which

gets the club under the ball so impact occurs

higher on the face In addition to being high

launching (even on low strikes), G fairway

woods are also highly forgiving

G STRETCH 3 WOODEngineered to stretch a golfer’s distance off the tee and on shots into the green with its larger head, slightly forward CG, 13º loft, and lower spin

All G fairway woods are adjustable up to ±1º Lie angles represent an average of the five adjustable positions

G SF TEC (STRAIGHT-FLIGHT TECHNOLOGY)To assist golfers whose typical miss is to the right (for right-handed players), the G SF Tec woods have weight closer to the heel, a lighter swingweight and higher lofts This technology helps square the face at impact, promotes right-to-left shot bend and launches the ball higher

THINNER CROWNWeight saved by thinning the crown was used to lower the CG, increase MOI and make it easy to get the ball airborne, even when struck low on the face Turbulators capture the ball and can aid in alignment

CARPENTER 455® FACE2½ times stronger than cast 17-4 SS, Carpenter 455 steel allows for a thinner, variable-thickness, precision-machined face that increases flexing for fast ball speeds, high launch, and greater distance A unique process adds friction to the face to reduce spin

TIERED INTERNAL SOLECascading structure relieves stress at impact by pooling it so the entire face is engaged in flexing Maximum energy transfer means fast ball speeds and big distance

HIGH-TECH ALTA Lightweight, extremely counter-balanced shaft allows added head mass to increase energy, momentum and MOI at impact for faster ball speeds with stability

TOUR 65 & 80 PING’s premium Tour-inspired after-market shafts deliver a lower launch and less spin with a stable feel

Longer comes from its sole.Hybrid technology takes a leap forward,

highlighted by the G hybrids’ innovative

tiered internal sole, which helps activate

face flexing and deflection to power the ball

off the face faster for greater distance The

ultra-thin crown allows for a low-back center

of gravity to ensure high launch, reduced spin

and a higher MOI for maximizing forgiveness

MODELS OF CONSISTENCY. Engineered to fit a golfer’s stroke tempo and feel

preference, Cadence TR models advance putter fitting by

using different-weight face inserts Traditional-weight models

feature an aluminum insert (blue in color) and typically fit

mid-to-faster tempos and can improve lag putting Heavy-

version inserts (black) are made of stainless steel, which adds

approximately 25g to better fit slower tempos and improve

results on shorter putts Both inserts feature the next generation

of True-Roll (TR) Technology grooves that vary in depth and

width to significantly improve ball-speed consistency for

TIMELESS AND NEW. In 1966, PING founder Karsten Solheim revolutionized

putter design with the invention of the Anser putter –

setting a standard in putter design that continues

to influence putter designers around the world Now,

50 years later, his enduring design advances putter

technology with the introduction of the TR 1966 Anser

and Anser 2

During development, PING engineers relied on 3D scans

of the original Anser and Anser 2 to analyze the subtle

contours and radius details that Karsten personally shaped

into the designs using his mill and hand files Each of the

new models is engineered with that same attention to

detail and performance to carry on the winning tradition

established 50 years ago

CLASSIC LOOKLike the original, the Anser includes a sound slot and appeals to golfers who prefer no alignment line, more rounded heel and toe contours, and a slightly thicker top line

TRUE-ROLL GROOVESBoth models offer the unmatched distance control and consistency of True-Roll Technology grooves that vary in width and depth from the center of the face
