In celebration of Veterans Day 11 Nov 2010, Subway is showing its thanks with free six inch subs to all Veterans or Active Duty members. On Nov. 7, McCormick & Schmick's restaurants will offer a free entree to military veterans for its 12th annual Veteran's Appreciation Event. Sam's Club - Over 25,000 Hugo canes will be given away to U.S. veterans in need of mobility assis-tance. Membership is not required, but supplies are limited, so check with your local store. Amazon.com- Free "Veterans Day Honor" MP3 album download. Cabela's Outdoor Store - Offers their employee discount to all veterans, active-duty military and reserves, law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel Nov. 11-12. ASYMCA is proud to announce the opportunity for military families to participate in a weekend family camping experience at Camp Erdman. We will be hosting one session, 19-21 Nov. The focus will be on conservation and environmental elements as well as quality family time. Interested families are invited to apply at the ASYMCA by [email protected] for an application. While all ranks are

welcome to apply, the target audience for this experience is families whose sponsor is a junior enlisted Soldier.

Father Daughter Ball - The Fourth Annual Father Daughter Ball will be held on Saturday, 6 Nov, 1730-2100 at the Nehelani Conference Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Wheeler Armed Services YMCA for $40 for the father-daughter pair and $15 for each additional daughter. Great Aloha Run Discount: In honor of the

Great Aloha Run's 27th year of running with

Aloha, U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii, in support

of the Army Family Covenant, will sponsor a

portion of the early entry military rate

(individual category) for Blue Star Card hold-

ers. The military entry fee is $30, however

Blue Star Card holders may enter the race for

only $5 for up to the first 100 registrants. The

Great Aloha Run will take place on February

21, 2011 from the Aloha Tower to the Aloha

Stadium. Please bring completed application

and $5 entry fee, along with your valid Blue

Star Card to either the Health and Fitness
