    Applying Gods Word

    description

    This study examines the issue of applying and living out what students be-

    lieve to be true. They may believe a lot about God, but are they willing to

    act on it even when it is costly to them? We only truly believe as much as

    we live out that belief. The goal is for students to make up their minds tojust do itto apply their faith with tangible action.

    key verse

    Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it

    says (James 1:22).

    biblical basis

    Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:9-11; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12;

    James 1:19-27

    the big idea

    The way we live demonstrates the depth of our faith. God is calling us to

    put our faith into action.
