Wilto has been overseeing the construction of the

reservoir by the school. Construction of the reser-

voir involves constructing walls, cementing them,

and then creating a concrete covering that rests

on the walls. Finally, gutters are installed to collect

the falling rain from the roof and funnel it into the

reservoir.

This reservoir will serve the school, the church,

and the community. When completed, this reser-

voir will be able to hold over 10,000 gallons of wa-

ter! It is currently about halfway finished and will

be completed when Wilto returns to Haiti in mid-

January.

The school year started well and the

first of three quarters is finished. The

children have taken their exams and

enjoyed Christmas break. School

started back on January 7th and the

school is now serving just over 200

children.

The little house on Ybene and Laura’s property

is almost finished. It is in livable condition now,

and just needs the finishing touches. Just before

the end of the year, all five of Ybene and

Laura’s children were able to stay there. They

are so excited to have the children living with

them! They also now have room to house 4-6

more children, and are looking forward to seeing

what the Lord does.

We hope to see the completion of the reservoir very

soon, in January or February. After that, we will

begin working on the church and on repairs for

leaky roofs on Wilto’s house and Ybene and Laura’s

house. We also would like to build four more class-

rooms and a small house for missionaries

Plans are also coming together for a mission trip to La Gonave at the end of March. This trip will focus on the construction projects already mentioned, ac-complishing as much as possible in the week the volunteers are there. Thanks to Michael and Mary Schiff and Gateway Christian Church for supporting this trip!

Our mission is to teach

Kingdom living which instills

a better quality of life

through Christ Jesus by

training and raising up disci-

quality of life improve and

become self sustaining as

the children are educated in

the Ebenezer school. We

want to meet their physical

needs with clean water,

food, and medical attention

while ministering to their

souls with the love of Christ.
