GOD SPEAKS THROUGH ALLEGORICAL PARABLES What are parables? Parables are a short allegorical story, message, prose, narrative, orthought that illustrates, teaches or conveys a life lesson. The message uses symbolism to speak two languages. The first language is the story itselfand the second language is the hidden meaning of the story. The hidden meaning is themessage as interpreted through spiritual analogies and comparisons of symbols within thestory. I began to understand allegories and parables when the Lord started speaking to methrough dreams and visions. It took an entire season to discover He wanted them to beinterpreted spiritually, not literally. (That is not always the case.) When I discovered this, Irealized I was hearing Him, but wasn’t UNDERSTANDING what He was saying! I said, “Lord, I can hear You just fine, why don’t You just talk to me and tell me what Youmean?” What He spoke was plain as day: “Sweet One, I am not teaching you YOURlanguage, I am teaching you MINE.” Immediately I saw two separate picture-visions. Eachpicture contained two pillars in His temple. The first picture had “substance” to it and wason earth. The other picture was an identical pillar, but it was somewhat ethereal. It was thesame copy, only in heaven. Then He said, “I teach you one, so that you might know theother.” He shows us the physical allegory in our physical lives so we may understand the

  • “Words” He speaks into our spiritual lives. I soon discovered parables and allegories were a delight! They put a bounce in my stepand a smile in my heart. He amazes me the way He speaks His Words in exact details, large and small, placing them in orderly fashion in my life. Ask Him to open your ears tohear Him this way. You will receive such joy.

    THREE EXAMPLES OF ALLEGORICAL STORIES

    GOD AND MY BOX OF CRAYONS{Allegory}

One day I received a big box of crayons on my computer screen. It was marked:

    To My Beloved Child,

    With love, from Heaven.

As I clicked on the lid to see so many crayons sent from heaven I was overwhelmed withthe depth, nuances and flavors of expression. There were so many colors, each unique butall effecting one another. Many colors were different than what I was used to, and somewere the same. I first noticed they were organized to reflect similar shades together. Butanother section was organized in opposite contrasts. Some colors were blah but when putnext to another, it made the combination show a reflection I hadn’t seen before. The colorscame in swirls and lines and dots and shapes. The vastness of how each part interrelatedwas so amazing.

My eye stopped on one color I didnt like at all and that was okra. Yuck, that had to go. Iclicked on okra and pushed delete. When the okra disappeared, it took all of the okra out ofthe box. I had not realized that okra had been blended in among the colors and shapes. Inthat instant the colors all changed, the shapes became smaller by one color; the box

  • adjusted and reduced in size. That was better but with okra now gone, the color closest to itsuddenly looked like okra. I clicked on it and it was gone. My colors all changed and my boxshrunk. I thought I remembered what okra looked like and decided anything that wassimilar to that color needed to be culled out of my box. One by one I started clicking deleteand my box changed and reduced.

Finally I had worked through all the colors to my liking. The shapes, lines, dot and swirlswere either missing or something very different than what was given, but they appealed tome and I was satisfied. The colors in my box were rather primary and simple but Iremembered that okra and decided this was fine for me.

Years passed and I no longer remembered okra or the time that I had worked through mybox. I started to notice other people had boxes that were much bigger than my own andthey were passionately using their boxes of many colors and their boxes were expandingwith even greater colors and reflections. Why was my box so small? Try as I could, I wasnot able to change its size and so I sent a letter to heaven asking for a bigger box.

Heaven responded very sadly that each color in the box sent to me had represented ashade of its Creator. It contained His heart, His thoughts, His feelings, His depth and thevery essence of Who He was.

Heaven told me I had deleted weakness, and judgment, sickness, and vessels of dishonor.I had deleted accountability for seeds I had sowed and warnings of being friends with theworld. I had deleted that the Creator hides Himself and reveals Himself to those who listenand seek Him. I had deleted that He speaks in mysteries and parables for a purpose andthat to know Him clearly was costly. I had deleted that the Creator uses evil as instrumentsof judgment and discipline with all things working together for good; that nothing escapesHis Sovereign eye as He watches over me. I had deleted that when I judge others, I amjudged by the same measure. I had deleted what happens when I dont forgive or when Idont ask for forgiveness. I had deleted that I would be treated exactly as I had treatedothers. I had deleted that sin produces death of everything abundant and good. He told methat His thoughts were not my thoughts and His ways were not my own. And when I wasdone, my box of Who He was to me, had set the boundaries of my mind about thescripture, my faith, and how He could reach me and affect my life.

After I saw the fruit of my errors, I told Him I was very sorry for not accepting Him as Hereally was and asked Him for another box. In His infinite mercy, He forgave me and thensurprised me. He said that the box of colors was in His Word and I could pick it up anytime Ipleased and use the colors He had provided. He told me this time not to throw away anycolor, but respect each Word as a portion of Who He is, for He does not change; He is thesame yesterday, today and forever. Mark 4:24-25 NKJV Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it willbe measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has, to himmore will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away fromhim."

James 1:17 NKJV Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father oflights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

THE PARABLE OF THE PACIFIC SALMON

When the Lord first called me in 1984 I had many awesome supernatural experiences. They were enough to catapult me into a new life and direction and launch my faith to a newlevel. I did not know at the time that I would need this. Because for the next several years Ihad terrible, terrible resistance in the way of demonic dreams, visions, nightmares, voicesat night. I battled night and day to overcome these things, because I was so inflamed indeep longings for the intimacy I had in the Lord when He first called me. He comforted meand told me He was putting me through basic training of how to overcome as His warrior. And I learned so much in those years in the school of overcoming.

The parable He gave me was the story of the Pacific Salmon that live in the PacificNorthwest. When they are mature, they travel up from the ocean into the rivers and streambeds from whence they were born. They travel uphill against the current, the rocks, thewhite water and all the entanglements. Eventually the strongest make their way to the veryplace where the were hatched. It is there that they lay their own eggs. As they are finallystill you can see their bodies with gashes and wounds from such a hazardous journeyupstream. It is then you truly understand their innate passion. In spite of their wounds, theyrelentlessly continue to climb upstream until they have fulfilled their destiny. Once theyhave laid their eggs, they die. Their children swim downstream to the ocean to repeat theprocess.

It is the triumphant story of God's overcomers as they decrease and God increases, as theydie to self so that God can live through them. Rev 12:10-11 NKJV

  • Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,” Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdomof our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, whoaccused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame himby the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love theirlives to the death.

I learned through the process that God alone allows what touches our lives, for good. AndHe really is our trainer in every sense of the Word. I learned a rock hard faith through thoseyears, and now when I get a demonic experience at night it is not for overcoming because Ikeep my weapons honed, but rather for my training and discipline for opening wrong doors.

Each and every time the enemy swarms, it is for our promotion. God will take us higher withgreater authority, more revelation and better perspectives than ever. He bringsEVERYTHING together in our lives for good because He is our GOOD FATHER. Rom 8:35-39 NKJV Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killedall day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we aremore than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither deathnor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the loveof God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom 5:3-5 NKJV And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation producesperseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does notdisappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spiritwho was given to us.

Rom 8:28-30 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those whoare the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined tobe conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among manybrethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, theseHe also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

    A PARABLE OF THE WATCHMEN

  • Tonight I was watching a documentary about how they made the Planet Earth series, only5 world wide impacting one hour programs in 5 years. I was thinking about the spectacularshots of creation they have in their series and the hours and hours and HOURS they spendtrying to capture the right shot.

In this one scene, the poor photographer sat in his hidden hut for 8 hours a day for 5 weeksto finally get the shot of the blue bird of paradise doing his dance.

It made me realize that a watchman is full time and we spend all our hearts and timelistening, and those hours are finally rewarded for the impacting messages we share thatmake a difference in the world.

Jer 31:3-6 NKJV The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlastinglove; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shallbe rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, and shallgo forth in the dances of those who rejoice. You shall yet plant vines on the mountains ofSamaria; The planters shall plant and eat them as ordinary food. For there shall be a daywhen the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim, 'Arise, and let us go up to Zion, To theLORD our God.'"

GOD SPEAKS THROUGH PARABLES IN OUR DAILY LIVES

Listen to what you are doing during moments of the day - it might be a parable ofwhat He wants to say to you. We are surrounded by the allegorical parables of hidden symbols in everyday life. Allegories are discovered through various symbolic circumstances in our daily life, which join together to tell a story. It is like putting words together to make sentences.God delights in speaking to us in allegories. He receives such joy when we becomeenlightened to this manner of His reaching out to us. Our daily lives are like symbols:they contain hidden stories, if we listen. We can listen to our hands, feet and eyesrecognizing the allegories in which we are involved at that moment. The idea of listening to allegories, no matter what form they come in, is the decisionto stop - and reflect upon them. Sometimes the allegories can come in a negativeform which is His merciful way of getting our attention. They are kind warnings froma loving Father. The negative allegories are a means for us to understand and judgeour own wrong doing. “But if we judged ourselves rightly, we should not be judged. But when we arejudged, we are disciplined by the Lord in order that we may not be condemned along

  • with the world.” 1 Corinthians 11:31,32 NASB

TIPS ON HOW TO HEAR GOD THROUGH PARABLESAll of these tips will expand your understanding of the spiritual parable.

    1. Match the quickened buzz word of a concept with a connecting spiritual word or

    concept in the Bible.

    2. After you have found the scripture, look up scriptural cross references thatconnect with that theme.

    3. Allow the Holy Spirit to bring into remembrance the stories, experiences, rhema

or Words that relate to the same theme.

    4. Draw conclusions or applications to the spiritual parable. Discovering parablesare not valuable unless they have application to your personal life or other’slives.

QUESTIONS TO HELP YOU DEFINE YOUR ACTIONS Many times when we define something, and then apply the definition spiritually, wearrive at an “OH!” Here are a few questions that might help you find allegories inyour daily life.

    1. What are you doing?

    2. What is the literal purpose of what you are doing?

    3. What is the literal function of what you are doing?

    4. What is the literal definition of what you are doing?

    5. Now compare the literal answers and match them with the same answers only

using spiritual language. You discover the spiritual language by finding the use of the same words, the samesubjects, concepts or themes within scripture. For instance, He speaks through our job assignments. An example could besomeone who pumps gas for a living. Gas is the power that makes our mode oftransportation move. This person also spends much time quietly praying for people. So the parable of his spiritual assignment within the body of Christ would be to pump

  • power into people’s lives. Listen to what you are doing during moments of the day. Our actions speak louder than our words most of the time and the Lord uses them tospeak to us!

    THREE EXAMPLES OF PARABLES

    TODAY’S BLOOPER: THE WRINGER

Last night when I put my nightgown on, I noticed thatthe pockets were sticking out so I tucked them in. Thismorning I was up before dawn working on importing thenew Glossary. I spent a few hours working then tookone last look at it before putting it on line. I had madethe same mistake in every page! I was not a happycamper and kept telling myself I was NOT going to dothem all over again. Sigh, I was not doing a very goodjob at talking myself into that, so I did them over.

I can not even count how many times I have asked theLord to help me do things, and suddenly His Spirit willpop up and bring something into memory that I forgot,or help me see a problem and also the work-aroundanswer. It is awesome to realize His help in this way.So I was wondering how I could have done such a

stupid mistake. As I was thinking that, He brought into memory that I had forgotten topray. I did not ask for the Lord’s help! I tromped into the other room and looked at mynightgown in the mirror and chuckled. It was inside out!

I immediately thought about the parable of our lives being washed, going through thewringer and coming out inside out! It would be a while before I took my shower, so Itook off the nightgown and put it on right side out and then looked again. Now it wasbackwards. Ever had one of those days?

My whole day was spent going in software circles with the hopes that there was aneasy answer to my need. I was quite crabby by the end of the day and poooooooooorWayne kept praying for me. Finally in a spotlight prayer I said, “LORD! You told me toconsolidate my life and make it simpler. I have honored you and am continuing towork through these things with my computer so I can manage it easier. But this latestproject is not simple, it is complicated!” He reassured me that it was simple. I justcould hardly believe that, but I have had miracles before in computer land, so I said,“OK!”

Guess what happened? I was up around 3 AM the next morning and decided to

  • update one small file in the glossary. I accidently clicked on something and suddenlythe program took off and did what I had intended, but without the 10 steps I had doneyesterday. In one simple click I updated a file. I was astonished. I clicked it again onthe next file and it did the same thing! ANOINTED CLICKER FINGERS!!!! He didexactly what He has promised. In one simple blooper, what was complex was nowsimple.

So whenever you have one of those wringer days, don’t forget to PRAY. And thenask Him to bring good out of all your bloopers, and you will be rewarded!

Ps 103:19 AMP The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.

Rom 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to thosewho are the called according to His purpose.

GLOWING EARS: A PARABLE OF LIGHT SHINING IN THE DARKNESS

Tonight we took our son and his friends out of town to gocosmic bowling. The bowling ally was dark with neon lights andalso glistening strobe lights. They had blaring loud disco music. This time I came prepared and popped in my handy- dandyfluorescent orange ear plugs! They glowed in the dark and everyone thought that a riot. Icaught some kids staring at my ears and looking away when Icaught them staring! The ear plugs were brilliant under the

fluorescent lights. I thought the parable funny that my ears were glowing!

Isa 60:2-4 KJV For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: butthe LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, theycome to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thyside.

  • THE PARABLE OF MY TURKEY WRAP!!

My son taught me how to make chicken wrapsandwiches in a way that keeps the tortilla chewy, softand moist without getting slimy wet or breaking apart. Itis to spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the tortillaand then wrapping the whole tortilla sandwich in saranwrap and leaving it over night in the fridge for themoisture to soften and change the texture of the tortilla.I was impressed with his and so I thought I would give ita try.

I had sliced turkey, Alpine lace cheese, and Wayne’sleftover mixed salad without dressing, so I thought that

might be a good base for the sandwich with the cream cheese. I found some Dijonmustard and was thinking about adding some bread and butter pickles for a touch ofsweet.

After I added the Dijon mustard, I was thinking about the sweet idea of the picklesand then changed streams in mid sentence, only I forgot to tell my brain that.Yesterday Wayne and I went out to lunch and he had a turkey meal with a touch ofcranberry. I thought it might be interesting to try one bite of cranberry on my Germanpotato pancake, since they served it with applesauce and sour cream. Germansseem to like sweet with sour and I liked that idea.

So while making this turkey wrap I suddenly thought about how good turkey is with ahint of cranberries, and I had raspberry cream cheese that might make a goodsubstitute. So I put some raspberry cream cheese around the blanks spots of thetortilla, and totally forgot I had put the Dijon mustard on top of the meat, still hidingunder the lettuce!!!!!!!

I took a couple bites and Yeeeeeeeeeowe, what a surprise. This had to be theweirdest, most terrible sandwich I ever had in my life! I could not imagine what waswrong with it when suddenly I remembered the mustard. You have got to be kiddingme, I am eating Dijon mustard and raspberry cream cheese together! It was reallybad.

I am not about to throw the whole thing down the drain because I didnt was to wastethe turkey. So I am laughing with each bite, and making squinty faces in between.Wayne is sitting next to me eating turkey and alpine lace cheese on a plain cinnamonraisin bagel. He made his based on the same idea of cranberries and turkey and saidit tasted pretty good.

Sometimes the Lord throws us some strange curves in life just to break our mindsetsabout our opinions and how we think. Yesterday and all the days before, I wouldhave never tried Wayne’s turkey and swiss cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel.

  • Today it sounds like a cool idea, after my over-the-wall Dijon mustard and raspberrycream cheese!

I have found that sometimes the Lord allows things in my life that I find distasteful tomy mindset. They may be tough to chew and not pleasant texture to my thinking. Hemight set it apart for a while and then come back to it later. Then when the same isoffered to a lesser degree, I am more open to it, having been stretched before.

Like for instance I may go through a season of not hearing Him very much, and thenwhen He speaks again I am much more open to hearing what He says, because Ihave changed my opinions that hearing Him talk about any subject is better thannothing at all. Isa 30:19-21 NKJV For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; You shall weep no more. He will bevery gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you.20 And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction,Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall seeyour teachers. 21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. Tonight when dropping off our grandson, we were told he needed to get some vegiesdown as he was now refusing to eat them. When it came time to feed him, it becamevery evident after a couple tries, that vegies were now on the BAD STUFF list. SoPapa Wayne had a spoon full of vegies and Grammy Sandy had a tiny piece of breadand jam. We found that if I offered the tiny piece of bread, he would open his mouthfor that, and Papa would slip the vegies in on a side swipe! When we told the kidswhen they came to pick up our grandson, they laughed and said they do the verysame thing!

WORD TO PONDER: SWEET AND SOUR, SALT AND SUGARBeloved sometimes you are so set in your ways that we come to a stand still until youare willing to hear what I AM speaking into your life. I have many ways of getting youto chew and swallow strong food so it is not a problem to Me. However I would likeyou to understand that sometimes I take you the long way around an issue simplybecause you are unwilling to receive it any other way. I may mix something sweetwith sour circumstances, and perhaps bring you through a salty dry time of thirst forMe while at the same time I say something sweet that appeases you enough to seekMe in a different way. Try being more flexible in your boundaries of listening skillsand things may change more pleasantly.

Ps 63:1-2 NKJV O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longsfor You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You inthe sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.

Do you stop and listen to Him through His creation and the environment in which youlive your daily life? Jesus may quicken your ears to hear a delightful revelation fromHim! All of life tells a story if we listen while we live. Below are some facts aboutcreation. Find the SPIRITUAL allegories hidden like gems inside the facts. (Thescriptures are given not to explain the allegories, but to give insights into generalconcepts. The interpretations are open as they apply to the intimacy of our dailyspiritual life.)

HE SPEAKS THROUGH BLooPERS I love it when the Lord talks to me through my bloopers. He has a great sense ofhumor and loves to touch my funny bone! When I hear Him through these times, theyare especially punctual and hit me right where I am at. I pray that you too will beblessed and learn how God can speak to us through this amazing way. Our bloopers can be a link to Him if we recognize Him in the process. I enjoy hearingHim this way, as so often He uses my mistakes to talk to me humorously. Once Iwas seeking His input about Chapter Two, saying I wanted to stick my toe in thewater about an issue. Later while editing Chapter Two, I typed “CHAPTER TOE,God Speaks Through The Bible.” I didn’t notice until later and had a splendid laugh. Another time, as I was getting breakfast ready and reaching for a spoon, I heard theLord say, “Parable.” I thought, “I wonder what the parable is?” I walked around thecounter to set my bowl, cereal and spoon onto the table. Finally I looked at thespoon I had grabbed from the drawer — it was a giant serving spoon! (Larger than atablespoon.) I giggled and ate my cereal with the huge spoon. The Lord had againconfirmed that He had given me a large meal to serve the body of Christ and Ineeded to enjoy His promises and just let them happen in His timing, not mine. After

TO SPILL THE BEANS A Blooper Story of Sharing Our Testimony

Somewhere I got the idea we all needed beanbags. We found some on sale atWalMart. So, we bought one to try it out, and it smelled really bad... like paint thinner. The beads were made out of some material that had a strong inhalant in them but wedecided it would fade in time. As I tried it out at home, I was coughing that night, butdecided it would be OK, so we went back and bought 2 more. Then we decided thatthe bags were stuffed too full. That was a mistake. Since the zippers wouldn't open, Iripped a hole in the seams to let some of the beans out. The beans were not beansat all but shredded flakes. And they had static electricity in them, so they CLUNG.What a mess.

Somehow, we managed to pour some of them out of the bags, and repair the holes. That night I was coughing so bad I thought my lungs were going to fall out. I had thepaint thinner like dust in my lungs from all the pouring, and I was miserable. WhenWayne finally put the bag in the other room, I stopped coughing. So we had spent$60 on bean bags we couldn’t use, and had the smell in all the bedrooms, downstairs and in our car. Boy was that a cleanup. And I still had no bean bags.

In spite of all the hassle, I didn’t give up and decided to make them myself. After Imade the sacks with some nice soft material, I found some non smelling, and realstyrofoam beans at Freddies. It was time to pour them into the sacks and Wayne wasin the other room. Insert brainy idea. I made the wonderful decision to pour them allby myself.

The first try, the bag slipped, and I had the equivalent of 2 large king size pillows ofbeans all over the floor. I just stood there and gawked. After all the hassle with thelast bean bags, I was undone. The pressure mounted inside and it was either laughor cry. All I could think of was "I love Lucy." I started to giggle at such a huge pile allover and bent down to scoop. The beans had static electricity in them, and theytraveled up my arms, in my hair, all over the table, all over the floor and I started tohysterically laugh and laugh. I laughed so hard I cried and there I was in the midst ofthis huge pile laughing and laughing all by myself. As I was both laughing and crying, suddenly I heard the Lord say, "Spilled the beans!!!" That was my undoing. I waslaughing so hard I just couldn't get them back in the bag. So I left them scattered allover and went into the other room to cool down.

A couple of hours later my son came home from school and I could hear him in theother room, yelling, "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHKKKKKKKK!!! I'M NOT CLEANING UPTHIS ONE!!!" By the end of the night I managed to clean up most of them withoutusing the vacuum and wasting several cases of bags.

One week later I found beans in the hall, in the laundry, in the washer, in all thebedrooms, in my bathroom, in the living room, and in the kitchen. How they traveledthere is a mystery. Each time I found one, it was like finding a treasure and I’d laugh

  • all over again. Well that is my bean bag story and I’m "sticking" to it. I think the Lordis very funny. I think it is a parable of coming out of the closet with publishing thebook and the website and the seeds are scattering everywhere!!!

WORD TO PONDER - MY PILE OF WORD TREASURES You think that you are going nowhere fast in walking through your daily life, andwondering if My promises will ever come to pass. But I tell you My child, that everyday I am building My Word within you. You are growing a step at a time and one dayyou will be so stuffed, you will be completely full and spilling over. In that day, youshall have My Word, Word, Word and it shall spill, spill, spill, and I shall scatter it asseed everywhere. There shall be so many seeds in the wind, that you will not be ableto track them or retrieve them as they shall spill out upon the earth in one wonderfulpile. So you may think weary thoughts right now, but I promise you that one day youshall laugh with joy and delight as you romp in the pile. And your heart will twinkle asI give them back to you, placing them in your daily life one by one. They shall be likehidden treasures when suddenly I shall open your eyes and you shall hear My voicespeak back to you. My Word lives on and on and on and I love to feed My loved onesliberally.

"I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure." (Ps 119:162 NKJV)

CONFIRMATION: Just as I was sending the above post, I looked at the flyerWayne put on my desk. A headline said, “Testimonies.” Then another headline said,“If we are silent.”

BLOOPER NAME Today when I posted the following PonderWord, I evidently blooped my name. Hereis a note from one of my readers. Living parables, I love them even if they come outblooped!!

WORD TO PONDER: DISPLACED FOR A PURPOSE Snady Warner Jan 15, 2003

DISPLACED FOR A PURPOSE In this last season, there were many who were knocked out of alignmentwithin My body. Disjointed and in pain, they suddenly became dislocated,

  • no longer having a place. This was the work of the enemy to stop theirfreedom of expression in Me. Even though painful, I allowed this for Myown purposes of harvesting the fruit and pruning the branches for aflourishing season yet to come. Let the pain go and yield it all to Me, yourMaster Gardner. For I will nurture you and heal you and bring you into Myplace, the place I have prepared for you.

Release all personal ambition for ministry, even your godly zeal to Me.Give no room for competition, jealousy, pride, comparison, or selfpromotion. If you humble yourself before Me and allow My pruning to bethorough, then I shall bring you into a new place of favor and honor, oneof My own doing and defense. You will find that in yielding all to Me, youwill never have to defend yourself, or promote yourself again. In that day,I shall send you and I will back you with signs following and My anointingwill carry you far beyond your greatest expectations.

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off everybranch that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that dobear fruit so they will produce even more." (John 15:1-3 NLT)

    GOD SPEAKS THROUGH CAT PARABLES

CALLY'S QUIRKS I enjoy watching animalsand hearing stories abouttheir behavior. They eachhave such distinctpersonalities, even amongtheir own species. TheLord taught me a conceptabout “waiting upon Him”through Cally, our cat. She had a funny andindependent personality. When she was in the moodfor love, she’d run right up

to you and want your touch. But when she was not, she’d meanderup the walkway when you called her, but stopping just short of yourarm’s reach. The problem was, either way, when I reached out totouch her, she moved. So I’d take one step forward, reach out andtouch her and then she’d move back one more step. This went onand on! I was thinking about Cally one day while writing about how it takesthe Lord time to set up His Words to us, and how it is important togive Him time to answer our needs. When the Lord starts talking tous about issues, He prepares His Words to be ready for us as weneed them. But what if we stop just short of receiving His Word? [As in requesting something from Him, then stopping short of hearingwhat He wants to give.] Or what if we come to Him gladly, lettingHim touch us, and He wants to continue touching us right in theexact location we are in, but we move away. [As in hearing Him viasermon, and not staying in that same place of reception when theservice is over — then walking out the church doors, missing the

  • next Word that lines up exactly with what He is still saying.] As I thought about this, I realized that was exactly what I was doingat the time. My jump up and skitter/scatter behavior towards sittingat the Lord’s feet and really searching His Words to me had becomeerratic and I wasn’t giving Him the time He needed to completeanything He started. I was making it very difficult for His Word tocome through my rushing. I prayed for His help to remind me to bestill and hear Him everywhere, and not to be caught up in my hurriedsurroundings. Thank you Lord. Thank you Cally. Some time later I wasn’t feeling well and stayed in bed and rested. Idecided to read my journal notes of the Lord’s various Words to mein all the delightful ways He speaks. I was really enjoying spendingthe time with Him, and I had my Bible, devotional books, notes, pensand markers, pillows and all my creature comforts spread out allover the bed. That night I had a dream about Cally. She did amiracle! She voluntarily climbed into my lap, was sprawled out andhanging all over me. I had such a wonderful time loving her and shereally liked it! I was really tickled when I awoke and realized it wasthe Lord’s way of saying He enjoyed my day as much as I did!!!

SAFE BOUNDARIESOne day I witnessed a very strong parable about finding safeboundaries. This was one of those times when the Lord speaks HisWord to us through His creation. I was watching Cally our cat. Shehad the daily habit of walking across the street and disappearinginto the tall field of grass. It was only after she had her babies thatwe discovered what she was doing. She was hunting for mice. After the babies were born she would carry the mice gently in hermouth like a kitten, and bring them back live to her babies. As sheapproached her babies, she would drop the live mouse at their feetand they would jump and scamper all around chasing it. At that ageI never did see them actually eat a mouse, but they did learn tocatch them and play with them. I shuddered to think how many livemice she was bringing home that were hiding around our home. One day I saw Cally walk out to the end of the driveway. She wasobviously headed to her field. Her kittens followed her like a stringof ducks. Cally got half way across the street then turned her headand saw her kittens. She turned around and walked back to thedriveway and faced her kittens head on. Her kittens did not run upto her for love, play or milk like they normally did. They stood still intheir tracks just as Cally was doing to them. After they werestanding head-on still like this, she turned around and took a fewsteps in the street, then turned her head again to see if they werefollowing. Sure enough the string of kitty-ducks were moving tofollow. She returned to the driveway and repeated the gesture, andthey stood still. She did this 3 times and so did they!!!! She was not

  • getting through to them. The last time she came back to thedriveway, her hair stood out and she hissed at them! Fur balls atattention… they did not follow her across the street! They returnedto our yard and scampered about.

THE CAT FIGHTOne day I witnessed a cat fight in our backyard. It was an amazingsign to me and sent by the angels. It was the first I had ever seenlike this, and also had never seen in our yard during daylight. The big fat, almost blind calico was loudly snarling and screamingintimidation against the smaller black and white one. The black andwhite one held its ground, only backed away a couple steps, but didnot utter a word or run away. He stayed very still and in thedefensive position, ready. If the black and white cat winced at aparticularly bad snare, this startled the intimidator cat and madehim jump a bit. Every now and then the intimidator cat wouldbecome quiet and look away as though distracted, but never movedoff. This went on for at least 10 minutes. Every now and then hewould let out a terrible scream. This bothered his throat I could tell. They wrestled twice. I saw fur flying. Then on the second wrestling where they tumbled together, the badone finally got tired and walked away. The black and white one justwatched it go. Then when it was gone, it turned around anddeliberately looked at me watching him in the window. He stared. Itwas a supernatural sign to me of what is like to stand againstdemonic intimidation. It was a sign to me that the black and white cat did not open itsmouth to fight back, rather just stood and defended his position. Hewas not about to leave our yard. It was a sign of treating the biggercat with respect but also standing firm.

HOW TO ENGAGE IN WARFARE WITH PRINCIPALITIES: STAND Eph 6:10-18 NKJVFinally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to STANDagainst the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh andblood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of thedarkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in theheavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that youmay be able to withSTAND in the evil day, and having done all, toSTAND. STAND therefore, having girded your waist with truth, havingput on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feetwith the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking theshield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts ofthe wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the

    GOD SPEAKS THROUGH DOG PARABLES

OBEDIENCE TRAININGWhile on my prayer walk I saw a doggie being trained by his master in the schoolfield. He was being told to walk, sit, stay and lay. Then he threw a ball way out in thefield. The dog saw him do this and remained in a ready position. When the mastertold him to go, the dog ran as fast as he could to retrieve it. I realized this is what He is doing with me. He gives me the Word, and then I wait forthe right timing and how to deliver the Word. It is very hard to be in a place where you are submitted to the Holy Spirit, tender andmeek and willing, but at the same time not yielded to men wanting to push you intotheir agenda for timing. Numbers 16:28 NKJVAnd Moses said:"By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all theseworks, for I have not done them of my own will. John 5:19-20 NKJVThen Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son cando nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the

  • Son also does in like manner. John 12:49-50 NKJVFor I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me acommand, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His commandis everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so Ispeak." WORD TO PONDER: OBEDIENCE FOR YOUR SAFETYYou have come a long way in your journey of maturing in Me. How proud of you IAM, beloved. Your heart has become tender and willing. It is vital that you follow yourconscience and stay in obedience. Do not harden your heart towards My voice. Thiswill safe guard you from falling out of the nest. It is much easier to be self disciplined than to be God disciplined and also the enemyis wanting any access you will unwittingly give him. I will discipline and do what isnecessary to get your attention for your protection. Stay light on your feet by beingflexible and willing to follow My voice. When in doubt, always obey. Heb 12:7-9 TLBAs you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his ownchildren. Whoever heard of a child who was never disciplined? If God doesn'tdiscipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and arenot really his children after all. Since we respect our earthly fathers who disciplinedus, should we not all the more cheerfully submit to the discipline of our heavenlyFather and live forever?

IT’S A DOG’S WORD: A JOYOUS WORD ABOUT CHANGING OUR MINDSETS

One week I had a series of very interestingexperiences all in one day. It was one ofthose road to Emmaus experiences wherethe Lord is quickening things to you andstirring your heart, but it is only afterwardsthat you realize He has spoken. I love itwhen He speaks with quickening thenfinalizes it with the power punch ofrevelation and opens our eyes to HisWord. (Luke 24:13) For lunch, my husband and I had gone towhat I call the ‘peanut place’. While people

are waiting for their meal, they can eat from the bucket of peanuts at their table thenthrow the shells on the floor. The floors are covered with peanut crumbs and shells. While passing the table next to us, I stepped on their pile of shells that had aparticularly good "crunch." So I stood and crunched their shells for a moment before

  • moving on. The lady at the table looked quite surprised and then saw the cherub grinon my face, and she couldn’t help it, she laughed. I laughed too and throwing myhands into the air, I said, "I’m sorry, but this is so liberating!" It was a sparklingmoment between two strangers. Later I noticed a new arrival was sitting at a table near us. A little baby was leaningway over his highchair looking at all the shells on the floor. He was speaking a lot ofvery serious gibberish and pointing to the floor. These shells on the floor wereobviously very important to him and he really had a lot to say about them. I was closeenough to hear. It sounded like a fluent and perfect language of tongues. (I Cor14:20) When we were walking to our car after our meal, we saw a very large Irish RedSetter dog sitting in his master’s seat. He had the most beautiful and longing eyespeeled on the door of the restaurant. I said out loud, "Well just another day in theparking lot while my master goes to lunch! I just wait and wait and sit and sit, it seemsthat is all I do is wait. And when he comes out that door, he is going to be smellinglike steak! Oh well…" (Matt 25:5 & 13) We laughed and drove to another parking lot about three minutes away. My husbandleft for an errand and I waited for him in the car. I habitually reached for our car Bibleand opened it at random. At the moment my eyes fell on the following scripture, something caught my attention and I looked up before reading it. I saw a second IrishRed Setter anxiously looking out the window for his master to come back. This wasso powerfully quickened to me by the Lord’s Presence, I said, "This HAS to be theWord of the Lord!" And at that exact moment, I suddenly remembered that I had seena vision that night of an Irish Red Setter sitting under a chair and I had heard the Lordsay to me, "I am changing the mindsets of My people." (Rom 12:2) I was marveling at how many angels it took to set up His Word like this - to place twoIrish Setters in 2 parking lots less than 3 minutes away, and to put us at both. As Iwas praying about what the mindsets might be, I glanced back down to the scripturethat I hadn’t read. Here is where my eyes fell!!! "Yes, Lord," she replied, "but evendogs are permitted to eat crumbs that fall beneath their master's table." (Matt 15:27NLT) And I had just come from a restaurant that was covered in crumbs! "Oh mygoodness," I said outloud to all the laughing and joyous angels who took the time toset each morsel into place. I had a sense that I was surrounded with their joy.

Matt 15:21-28 NLT"A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, "Have mercy on me,O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter has a demon in her, and it is severelytormenting her." But Jesus gave her no reply--not even a word. Then hisdisciples urged him to send her away. "Tell her to leave," they said. "She isbothering us with all her begging." Then he said to the woman, "I was sentonly to help the people of Israel--God's lost sheep--not the Gentiles." But shecame and worshipped him and pleaded again, "Lord, help me!" "It isn't right totake food from the children and throw it to the dogs," he said. "Yes, Lord," shereplied, "but even dogs are permitted to eat crumbs that fall beneath theirmaster's table." "Woman," Jesus said to her, "your faith is great. Your requestis granted." And her daughter was instantly healed.

  • As I pondered the scripture in context, I could see several mindsets. The disciplesare set to reject an outsider, they have been taught that she is unclean. Jesus is sent(and thus set) to minister to the Jewish people not the Gentiles. She is set onnagging because she knows He can help her. (Ex 12:45, Phil 3:2, Mat 10:5,6, Luke11:10) The dog mentality or mindset was strong. Jesus says in the same story recorded inMark: "First I should help my own family, the Jews. It isn't right to take food from thechildren and throw it to the dogs." Jesus had also said at other times, "Give not thatwhich is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest theytrample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. (Mark 7:27, Matt 7:6)And the women even acknowledged her own acceptance of the mindset, callingherself a dog: And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs underthe table eat of the children's crumbs." (Mark 7:28 KJV) This was all stirring within me when I got home. But I knew that the Lord hadspecifically used an Irish Red Setter in the vision and in the confirmations. There hadto be a reason. Knowing next to nothing about dogs, I looked up Irish Setters. Hereare some facts that were quickened to me. The descriptive adjectives are directquotes from various sources and all I did was turn them into examples. I think it isimportant for you to know that so you can appreciate the quickened Word of the Lord. * The Irish Setter is an aristocratic and regal hunting dog. He is as bold as he isbeautiful. (I Peter 2:9) * He is friendly, devoted and protective especially among children. (Gal 4:19) * The Irish setter tends to be slow developing and slow to train because he has amind of his own and an independent spirit. However, once trained, he is trained forlife and rarely needs a refresher course. (Ps 32:8,9 & Jer 4:22) * This breed does not respond well to shouts or negative reinforcement. Only positivereinforcement training techniques should be used. (Isa 42:2, Isa 30:20-21) * This dog is highly intelligent and understands what is expected of him. He needs alarge amount of exercise. Lack of exercise can make him restless and difficult totrain. (Ps 18:33,34) * The Irish Setter needs a job to do. He is quite capable of working in the field all day,and does not make a very good couch potato. (Isa 52:7) * The Irish Setter is both a pointer and retriever - particularly good for hunting gamebirds. The Irish Setter's talents include hunting, tracking, retrieving, pointing, andwatchdogging. (Mark 1;17) * Irish Setters were originally developed in order to help the hunter locate wild birds. The word setter originates from the way the dog was trained to ‘set’ when heapproached birds in the bush. Before the use of guns, hunters used nets. The setterwas taught to creep up on the birds, indicating by his movements the location of thebirds. Then he pointed with his nose and continued body language to the spot. Thehunter then threw the net over both the dog and bird. (John 21:6)

  • * Irish Setters have an excellent sense of smell. (Song 4:10) * His gentleness, happy and loving personality make him outstanding as a therapydog as well as a loyal companion. Visiting people in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and rehabilitation centers involves him in both a rewarding and therapeuticprocess. (Matt 25:34-40) * An Irish Setter will pay little attention to a person's age, or physical disabilities, butwill accept them, without judgment just as they are. The Irish setter is a sensitive dogand does best in families who shower them with love and affection. (Isa 66:13) WORD TO PONDER - NEW TRAINING FOR GREATER WORKSLoved one, My people have a mentality and a mindset that I am going to change. Some have great longings in their heart for the God of the Bible to come through thatdoor with the delicious meat of healing, deliverance, signs and wonders. But some inthe pain of delay are willing to accept even just one crumb from My table. Worse yet, some have become so hopeless and despairing that they think they might even missthe crumb. Some have become in-house couch potatoes just waiting for Me to come back. Doyou think I am coming to pluck you away from the mess, because the world has goneto the dogs? Yes it has gone to the unholy dogs. But I said that when the enemycomes in like a flood, I will raise up a standard against him. Some are so lowly they think they are nothing more valuable than a dog. But I saythat you have aristocratic royalty in your blood. I have called you to be My kings andpriests and reign with Me! My kingdom is coming to earth inside of you, so why wouldI withhold My good gifts from you? Do you think that I stirred your appetite for the lifeof My Son Jesus Christ, to let you down? Didn’t Jesus promise that you shall dogreater works? And where are the greater works? How can this be? I will show you what is to come. Right now, you think that you arejust sent to those inside the holy place, lest your pearls become trampled. But I amgoing to train you for greater works in the field. Let go of your mindsets of what youcan and cannot do, what you have or have not done in the past. Things are changingand I have a job for you, and I am preparing you for that job. I have created you to beperceptive with ample intelligence to understand what I will be saying to you. I will bekind and patient, and give you continued positive feedback so that you will learn howto hunt and catch the wild ones! I promise you, once you get the hang of it, you’regoing to love it. To hunt and catch. You were spirit born to run with this kind ofliberating exhilaration! Hunt, through prayer and waiting for My perfect timing. Catch, through pointing to MyWord. It will be a perfect blend of prophetic evangelism. With Words of knowledgeyou shall point to their heart, and in the evangelistic moment I will capture them. When the time is ripe, you will have the nose to discern My Word and you shall pointit out. My angels will have arrived, setting things in motion to catch the wild one in Mynet. Together you shall be enfolded into My great harvest for souls. And I will makeyou their loyal friend and protector.

  • You shall so love your new job and walk with Me that you shall become holy bold andfriendly. Your liberating ways shall be a joy for even strangers and you shall havesparkling moments with kindred hearts as you reach out and touch their lives. Youmay think that all you have to offer is peanuts. Bits and pieces - mere crumbs thatare so small you think none would want them. But let Me tell you, that if that is all youhad to offer it would be enough. For many are the children of the harvest. My childrenwill love those pieces and these will be like tiny golden nuggets dropped from heavenespecially for them, right at their level of perception and interest. They will bedelighted with each and every morsel that you give. Their knowledge of Me shallgrow and their language with Me shall become fluent in no time. Your heart will beforever changed as you lovingly watch them grow and blossom with new life. And what about those unholy dogs who yet rebel? Will I have you hide your pearlsbehind closed doors? I have chosen you as My regal ambassador to dazzle themwith steak and stir their appetite for things they so desperately want and need. In thedays to come, they will realize they need Me so badly, that they will be even satisfiedwith peanuts. And they will even be willing to crawl on the floor to eat crumbs fromyour table. Does this sound like a role reversal? Most definitely it is. And so My love, when you think of the floods of the enemy, consider My standardthat I AM raising. Slowly and most assuredly I AM raising My standard and I will useyou to lift My Son Jesus Christ high without shame. And I will have the joy ofwatching that "crumb" mentality of yours crumble beneath your feet as you stomp onthe discarded shells of old mindsets. I promise, you shall once again laugh as youbecome holy bold and liberated from the inside out. Roman 12:2 NKJVAnd do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of yourmind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

    GOD SPEAKS THROUGH SQUIRRELPARABLES

THE WHOLE ORCHARDOne day as I was on my prayer walk, Ilooked down and there was a smallempty peanut shell. It was placed on arock. It was really quickened to me asa Word from the Lord. I thought of themany Words the Lord has given meabout peanuts, His small nuggets ofrhema Words that are so tasty. As I came to the end of the road, there was a small private nut orchard. I saw a little squirrel and he wasgathering nuts. That is what I havebeen doing with the journals for 21

years, one nut at a time. As I watched him, I saw no othersquirrels. I thought, he is only one squirrel and he has an entireorchard to himself!! This made me break out and laugh out loud!

  • Ps 119:103 NKJVHow sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

THE LONG JOURNEYToday on my walk I had a quickened eye glance. I looked up andsaw a tiny squirrel from a long, long ways. He was running acrossthe large fresh cut green field. He ran half way and stopped underthe shade of the only tree in the field. Then after a minute, he ranthe rest of the distance across the field to the row of trees on theother side. This was a very large field he had crossed over! This wasa very precious Word to me, because I have been wanting to harvestthe rest of my journals with tiny peanut Words for those who will becrossing over in tough times. Acts 7:2-4 NKJVAnd he said, "Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to ourfather Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, andsaid to him, 'Get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to aland that I will show you.' Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans anddwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him tothis land in which you now dwell.

BEING CALLED BACK FROM DEATHWayne and I had been talking about various aspects of death. Oneof the scriptures came to mind when someone dies prematurely: Isa 57:1-2 NLT The righteous pass away; the godly often die before their time. And no oneseems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God isprotecting them from the evil to come. For the godly who die will rest in peace. Hours after our discussion when it was not in my mind, the HolySpirit brought into memory how mad Smith Wigglesworth's wife waswhen he called her back from death. She rebuked him and told him itwas her time to go. They spoke awhile and then she died again.

As I was thinking about how mad she was, I went in to saygoodnight to Wayne. He was on his last 40 seconds of watching acartoon movie called “Ice Age.” Scrat, the squirrel who had beensome kind of a hero, had died. He walks through these huge pearlygates and there are all these nuts everywhere. His hair is allsmooth, and he looks so happy and no longer bedraggled. He is SOhappy and starts gathering all these nuts all over the place. Andthen he sees this huge, huge nut dangling in mid air, it is GLORIOUS.He races up to touch it, and just before he makes contact, he isstopped and he is pulled back down to earth. He wakes up to seeSloth’s slobbery mouth that has just given him resuscitation. Scratis furious and chases after Sloth, who brought him back. And that isthe end of the movie!

  • Ps 116:15 NKJVPrecious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints.

THAT YUMMY SQUIRRELMy favorite “squirrel” story is many years ago when I had beenpraying about whether to send my first book to a publisher or to do itmyself. For my own particular needs and relationship with the Lord,I did not feel it was right to be promoted by men in their way andfashion. Instead I wanted to go forth a step at a time in whatevermanner the Lord chose for my life. I had no idea what that meant, Ionly knew it was true. Later I heard the Lord talk to me about publishing at Harvest House, which is a local Christian book publisher. I saw a vision of a squirrelwho had totally doused himself with Brute cologne. He was sodarling; I saw his little paws vigorously rubbing himself all over withthis cologne so he would smell yummy. This was a darling vision, but it really confused me. I knew exactlywhat it meant, but I was still scratching my head. I totally love thesmell of Brute I love it when Wayne uses it, and I love it when myson uses it. I understood this squirrel was male. I knew that littlesquirrel wanted to be accepted at Harvest House. And I understoodthe parable and connection between a squirrel gathering nuts andthe word, harvest. Yet I really had felt that I was not to have a publishing house publishmy books. Nevertheless, in obedience to what I heard, (and eventhough I don’t wear Brute!) I decided to send the manuscript tothem. I had some harvest potpourri with cinnamon and spices and Iburied the manuscript in it for a few days. It had a picture of the fallharvest on the package and the manuscript had a gentle smell ofspices when I mailed it. A letter came back saying they were notpublishing that kind of book at that time, which is was what Iexpected so I put that Word on the shelf. Almost 25 years later my son walks in the door and tells me he senta query letter to Harvest House to write a game book on lateralthinking puzzles. Not only did that shock me, but they accepted it! That situation progressed, so now he is writing a 3rd sequel at therequest of Harvest House! Wow does God’s Word amaze me. Inhindsight, I see that the Word was foretelling the future of my son. Our children are our most precious “harvest.” What I overcame andplanted in my life in God, is being passed down to my progeny. Themiracle of God’s ways of harvesting our lives and His promises areso amazing. Ps 127:3 NKJVBehold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a

  • reward.

WORDS TO PONDER ABOUT PEANUTS GET YOUR HOMEWORK DONEThere will come a day when you get all your homework completedand it will all be lined up in order with all the pieces put together. You may think that you will still be serving peanuts, but in that daythere shall be a great opening for doors of ministry. That day will bea time of My harvesting everything in your life, and the promises Ihave spoken will come to pass quickly. My time clock shall moveahead and things in your life will no longer be put on hold. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to beashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15 KJV) ======= MY GOVERNMENT, MY NEWSI assure, you, I have placed My government upon your shoulders. You think all you have to offer is just peanuts, but My calling uponyour life is to release My news from heaven and you are more thancapable of the task. I have sent My angel to help you and I will neverleave you. I will lead and guide you in all that you think and say. “Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon thethrone of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it withjudgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORDof hosts will perform this" (Isa 9:7 KJV) ======= TIDBIT JERKY OUTSIDE THE BOXSometimes, I speak in unusual ways. These are outside of yourboxes and boundaries of how you think I should speak. I always didprefer abiding in a tent over a building! Buildings are like boxes andso inflexible. Tents sway to and fro as My wind blows where it will. As I fill your tent with My Presence, I will send My angels to serveyou popcorn, peanuts and jerky. I have drawn you to be hungry forsalt, and ready to receive tidbits to chew. Yes, small morsels one ata time, but bursting with flavor as your appetite increases for Me.You shall chew and meditate upon My morsels from heaven andthese shall be like little lessons along the way. In the process I willstretch your boundaries of Who you think I AM. "Go and tell my servant David, `This is what the LORD says: You are not theone to build me a temple to live in. I have never lived in a temple, from the day Ibrought the Israelites out of Egypt until now. My home has always been a tent, moving from one place to another. And I never once complained to Israel's

  • leaders, the shepherds of my people. I have never asked them, "Why haven'tyou built me a beautiful cedar temple?" (1 Chron 17:4-6 NLT)

    GOD SPEAKS THROUGH BIRD PARABLES

FEEDING THE BIRDS PARABLEI received a belated BD gift. It was a bird feeder! No birds came and so I startedpraying that the Lord would bring the birds. This morning there were 5 beautiful birdsfeeding at our feeder. They have given me much joy and they are a reminder of howGod feels about nurturing and taking care of us. In an amazing series of events, all of a sudden people have been sending usdonations and the labels, stamps or stationary on their letters are birds! The Lord hasbeen telling me I am feeding the birds in their season of winter of hard, cold times. HEARD: You have been given the responsibility to feed the birds. I'm looking forcharacter. Her warehouse spirit. VISION: I saw a mother bird. She was feeding the other birds one seed at a time.

[INTERP: Part of my calling has to do with collecting the Words to the Lordand storing them into a huge warehouse, just like Joseph collected grain in thewarehouses. I have had several visions in my past about this warehouse I wassupposed to fill. In the mid 80's when I was collecting Words in my journal, Ihad just written one and saw a vision of me on top of this huge warehouse. It

  • had a slot in the top just like a piggy bank. I dropped the piece of paper thathad the Word on it and watched it float like a feather down to the bottom. Whata giant warehouse bank that was!]

WORD TO PONDER: FEEDING MY BIRDSI am calling you to help restore My people. I shall call you to bring forth out thesupplies of many years, and you shall feed many who come to your door. This shallbe a place of wonderful banqueting food preserved for those who are in need. It willbe like feeding the birds in winter, where food is scarce. The nest I am building willhold many. So rejoice as you see them come and sup. “"My lover said to me, `Rise up, my beloved, my fair one, and come away. For thewinter is past, and the rain is over and gone. The flowers are springing up, and thetime of singing birds has come, even the cooing of turtledoves. The fig trees arebudding, and the grapevines are in blossom. How delicious they smell! Yes, spring ishere! Arise, my beloved, my fair one, and come away.'” (Song 2:10-13 NLT)

THE ROOSTER WAKE UP CALL Within one week's time, the Lord strongly quickened several roosters to me. I havenever had rooster rhema before and this was very quickened. When the Lord speaksabout one subject several times within a very short time period, it is a good indicatorHe is speaking.

2 Cor 13:1-2 NKJV This will be the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two orthree witnesses every word shall be established."

    1) THE ROOSTER TREE: I opened my bathroom window to look at the sky tosee what kind of a day it would be. As I peered in the distance I suddenly noticed theshape of a huge tree, at least 4 stories tall. It was in the shape of a giant rooster!Every time I look at it now, I am amazed that it grew into this shape! I feel thisrepresents a visible sign in His creation that He is raising up for the world to see. 2) THE RUNNIN' ROOSTER:

I was talking to someone on chat and all of asudden he changed the graphic by his name. Ilaughed out loud! I knew this was the Word of theLord because Bobby Conner said that Gabriel hasreturned to the earth and he has running shoes on.Gabriel is the arch angel that bringsannouncements. The days of acceleration are hereto stay. Rapid change in harvesting good and evilseeds are here. Amos 9:13-15 NKJV"Behold, the days are coming," says the LORD,

  • "When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him whosows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow withit. I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste citiesand inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shallalso make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, And nolonger shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them," Says the LORD yourGod. 3) QUICKENED ROOSTER SCRIPTURE: Mark 13:37 NKJV"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the timeis. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to hisservants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watchtherefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming - in theevening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning - lest, comingsuddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" 4) ROOSTER GREETING: Today while I was on my walk, I was very surprisedthat a real live rooster came out to the gutter where I was standing on the street. Istood still and he came right up to me. I was strongly quickened that the Lord hadbrought me 3 roosters in one week. I am praying about what He is saying. I feel thatHe is bringing a wake-up call. This will be a personal face to face wake-up. 5) ROOSTER KITCHEN: I went to the store and my eye fell on an oven mitt andkitchen towels that had roosters on them. I have never even noticed anything withroosters on them before. All of a sudden I see them everywhere!! WORD TO PONDER: STAY AWAKEThis is a time to be alert and keep watch. Do not let the cares of this world numbyour heart or your mind. Carnal pleasures will also lull you to sleep. Stay awake, foryou will miss important building blocks needed for an important hour. This is the hourwhen I AM rebuilding My tabernacle. If you stay alert, I will visit you with key conceptsto help yourself and others to build a strong kingdom. Keep your lamp lit, your heart aflame for My visitations. I come in a variety of waysand you will miss Me if you do not look for Me. I may come in the request of a child. Imay come in an unrecognized angelic visitation. I may speak in a quickened conceptin My creation. I may come in the stirrings of wind. If you seek Me, you shall not missMe. Know this is the hour of My visitation upon earth. Keep watch. “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now isour salvation nearer than when we believed.” (Romans 13:11)
