To start, we suggest a Welcome Reception with your guests in one of our awe-inspiring gardens or indoor venues. Then experience the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Luau, Dondero’s restaurant or our signature restaurant, Tidepools, for your rehearsal dinner. While at the resort, enjoy an active day of golf and astonishing views at Poipu Bay Golf Course.
Your wedding day will be filled with excitement and anticipation. Allow our beauty and relaxation experts at Anara Spa to pamper you with a massage, facial, or hair and makeup session. For those who still have the energy, an after-hours toast in Stevenson’s Library would provide for a memorable finale.
Spend the remaining days of your celebration experiencing the grandeur of Kaua‘i through kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, surfing, and many more enjoyable island activities. As a send-off, plan on a catered post-wedding brunch to say “Mahalo” to all of your guests.

She will walk through the planning process, every step of the way, creating a personalized agenda for your special day. The 2019 Wedding Package is a sample which includes the basics for your ceremony, an officiant, photography, music and flowers. A la carte add-ons allow you to create your dream wedding.1st step: Choose your date, time, and location preference for ceremony and/or reception. Check on availablility with your Wedding Manager.2nd step: Complete the Wedding Contract and submit the noted deposit required to confirm your wedding and/or privately catered reception.3rd step: The 2019 Wedding Package Sample listed below is a complete package that may be used as is, or enhanced by adding Ala Carte items listed on the following pages. MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION:• Thoroughly read through the marriage license application instructions by visiting health.hawaii.gov.• Complete and pay for your application online. Upon completion of your on-line application, you will receive a record locator ID as confirmation. Please print and bring it to Kaua'i to present to the licensing agent. • Please be advised that the State of Hawaii Department of Health Vital Records agency estimates that you will receive your official marriage certificate between 90 – 120 days after you are married. • Your Wedding Manager will assist with scheduling your marriage license appointment with a State of Hawaii Licensing Agent.
PLANNING PARTNERSHIP
DAY OF WEDDING Wedding Manager Responsibilities • Provide directional signage from lobby to ceremony venue, and from ceremony venue to reception venue• Coordinate Vendor Services - florist, musicians, photographers, videographers, officiant, DJ, etc.• Coordinate wedding & reception setup • Coordinate wedding party in the processional at the ceremony venue• Seat guests at ceremony venue (unless wedding party prefers to provide ushers)• Event Services Manager and Event Services Captain to oversee all details for Dinner Reception
Couple’s Responsibilities• Getting guests and yourself to wedding ceremony venue on time• Assign family members to be responsible for overseeing of personal items (guest book, card boxes, favors, cake topper, etc.)• Stay hydrated with a balanced meal prior to the wedding• Turn over marriage license & rings to officiant at ceremony site• Have fun!
