Dear Friends,

Gnanavarsha, our Annual Conference is much awaited by all BSOGians.This year, we have put together an academic as well as cultural feast, to make Gnanavarsha 2016 a memorable event for all of us. “Infections in Pregnancy” being the main theme, we intend to highlight the lesser discussed but very often encountered in clinical situations in our day to day practice. We have brought together the experts- the intensivist, physician, chest physician, gastroenterologist, dermatologist and of course the obstetricians, who will be deliberating on various infectious diseases in pregnancy. We have planned two interactive panel discussions on “Febrile illness in pregnancy” and “TORCH infections”.

Another panel on medicolegal implications with participation of legal experts is also planned. Peppered with these are the Orations and Guest Lectures rendered by reputed faculty.

We request you all to make use of this opportunity to discuss, interact and enrich your knowledge, as well as enjoy the cultural evening.

I am sure it will be a great learning experience for all of us at the end of the day.
