The first edition of GLOWFestival, an international festival dedicated to augmented reality, turns the highlights on outdoor cultural heritage, and invite the audience to approach the immense potential of this art, capable of transforming the places traditionally know. The location of the first edition was the Cloister of St. Francis, located in the Town Hall of Ostuni.

Brief HistoricalThe current Town Hall in Freedom Square, adjacent to the church of St. Francesco D’Assisi, was the Franciscan home 1304-1809. Followed in the suppression of the religious order, in 1813 it was bought by the municipality and intended to house offices of public utility. Upon entering the building, after passing the entrance hall leads to the Cloister of St. Francesco, built in 1739 by Enginnering Pietro Mangarelli. Today it hosts culture conferences, events and religious celebrations.

Video: SimbiosisSypnosis: The idea is to make your imagination fly through different eras and architectural forms. I used several different concepts and styles of design. A modern design with a touch more traditional digital and always looking for the impact of playing with 3D visualizations and deep spaces that the building allowed me. And a small dedication to one of the architects who have always admired and I have been inspired to create the aquarium based colored glass pieces. Video: Super ImposeSypnosis: Audio and videomapping set, created by k137 (aka Alessio Spirli) In this set of videomapping, I focused mainly on the front architecture, imagining a horizontal section that divides the facade into two levels: the colonnade with arcades and the remaining upper floor. I mainly used the white and the frequency of light (flickering), lines and planes horizontal-vertical, grids 3d, cube and sphere, all strictly white, they stand by the absence of light that absorbs all the architecture. These simple shapes are animated and put into continuous variation from the audio, creating a deconstruction of architecture integrating or fragmenting, the area of the windows are interpreted by me as the origin of everything.

We have remarked that the Baroque often con nes painting to retables, but it does so because the painting exceedsits frame and is realized in polychrome marble sculpture; and sculpture goes beyond itself by being achieved in architecture; and in turn, architecture discovers a frame in a fade, but the frame itself becomes detached from the inside, and establishes relations with the surroundings.We witness the prodigious development of a continuity in the arts, in breadth or in extension: an interlocking of frames of which each is exceeded by a matter that moves through.
