J ohn Knowles, our new Director of Liturgy, joined us on Pente-cost. A Houston native and Cath-olic since his Baptism at St. Lau-
rence in Sugar Land, he is excited to be a part of the staff. He will work with the many liturgical ministers who participate in Mass and is grateful to be in his role in facilitating people's connection with God through prayer. He has taught English as part of young men's formation at Strake Jes-uit and graduated from Boston Col-lege with a bachelor's in English and Philosophy on Pentecost in 2018. He is happy to have met many parishion-ers and liturgical ministers already and looks forward to meeting many more people who help the parish grow closer to God and one another.

Michele L. Catanese has a Master’s degree in Christian Spirituality as well as certification as a Spiritual Director and Retreat Director from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a Reli-gious of the Cenacle for 7 years during which time she began training as a Spiritual Director. In addition to Creighton Universi-ty, she did her theological studies at St. Vincent’s Seminary in Latrobe, PA, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA, and Boston College in Boston, MA.

Furniture Needed Our youth ministry is in the middle of creating a
brand new youth ministry room. We are in need of living room furniture and electronics, such as a smart TV (new or used).
The youth room is a place where all teens 14 and up are welcome for fellowship and fun! If interested in
