Company History

AS Solution A/S (AS A/S) was founded in 2003 by two seasoned

security executives, Christian West and Martin Kelö. Since then,

AS Solution has become a market leader in the industry providing

services in over 50 countries to a diverse client base that includes

Fortune 500 companies, celebrities, government embassies,

members of royal families, and other high-profile clients. AS Solu-

tion North America (ASNA) was founded in 2007 to capitalize on

the growing need for customized Executive Protection services in

North America and, specifically, in the United States. ASNA is a

wholly owned subsidiary of AS A/S.

Size and Reach

AS Solution was built to help our clients with “Special Security So-

lutions” all over the world. To achieve this we have built a strong

combination of “sister companies”, full time remote employees,

partners and subcontractors. The global activities are performed

either directly from AS A/S or by our subsidiaries located in strate-

gic countries. The AS Solution Group currently has company offic-

es located in The United States of America (Bellevue, WA and At-

lanta, GA), Denmark (Herlev), Kenya (Nairobi), Tanzania (Usa Riv-

er), India (Bangalore),The United Kingdom (Surrey), South Africa

(Pretoria), Singapore, and Dubai. We also have remote agents in

Johannesburg South Africa, Lagos Nigeria, Cairo Egypt, Moscow

Russia, Beijing China and Sao Paulo Brazil. AS Solution has over

191 employees worldwide in addition to a vast network of vetted,

reliable partners, and subcontractors that make it possible for us

to solve any “potential” problem or crisis worldwide on short no-

tice. AS Solution currently serves approximately 200 clients

worldwide.

SECURE TRANSPORTATION We often see that the traveling executive has a need to be picked up in the air-port, facilitated thru immigration and customs in as an expedient manner as possi-ble. Therefore, we provide a facilitation service that will meet the executive’s needs, facilitate him thru and drive him to his destination, in a secure, discrete and direct manner. Additionally, the driver can stay with the executive all day and make sure that he makes all of his meetings and appointments. This service can go on for the entire visit and will normally end with the executive being facilitated back thru the airport on time. This service gives the executive the freedom to fo-cus on business. PROTECTIVE SURVEILLANCE AS Solution has always been one of the true experts of “Protective Surveillance”. The Protective Surveillance concept gives the executive 100% freedom and will not have any effect on his/her daily routines. He/she will still be seen as an open and approachable person. THREAT MANAGEMENT AS Solution provides a comprehensive security plan requiring a broad definition of threats so that a range of exposures is considered. Through the analysis, the focus should narrow to target those threats that are deemed the most applicable. As-sessments begin by compiling data on past security incidents, including incidents at the site, within the company and within the industry to determine if patterns of criminal behavior exist and, if so, define their nature. We also review loss records, safety records and legal judgments involving the organization, consult with the company's legal counsel and examine court settlements to identify exposures with an implication for security. Additionally, we conduct interviews with manage-ment, insurance underwriters and local emergency management authorities to identify applicable threats. We also review criminal data and compare crime rates for the nation, state, metropolitan statistical area, and the municipality. It is im-portant to emphasize that an assessment is a snapshot in time. As circumstances change, so does the threat environment. Consequently, the assessment must be updated to ensure that the security program is consistent with the needs of the time. In the end, a threat should be categorized as either probable (expect the event to occur); possible (circumstances are conducive for an event); or unlikely (do not anticipate the event to occur). The severity of each issue should also be categorized as either catastrophic (a disastrous event); moderate (a survivable event); or insignificant (relatively inconsequential).

EVENT SECURITY AS Solution provides security for more than 150 events per year worldwide. MARITIME SECURITY This is the newest entity in the AS Solution group of companies. Since the late 90’s, we have been providing Maritime Services and have opened the new company to focus on our Maritime Security Contracts. Our Maritime division is now regarded as the largest Maritime Security provider in Scandinavia. AS Solution is the first company to have an ISO9001 - Certified Armed Maritime Security Services. We are also the first Maritime Security Company in Denmark that has chosen to be regulated by the Danish Police.
