a few things for you to remember…

High School Graduation Quilts will be given on Sun-

day, June 17 at the 10:45am Service.

National Youth Gathering Meeting There will be an

informational meeting for all kids and their parents who

are going to the National Youth Gathering in Houston,

on Sunday, June 17 following the 10:45am Service. Please

make every effort to attend this meeting. Snacks will be

Did You Know Resurrection Has A Columbarium?

Just outside the doors next to the organ in our Oro

Valley site's Worship Center, you will discover a peace-

ful setting where sealed burial niches are located. Col-

umbariums are quickly becoming the modern church-

yard cemeteries.

In the past, cemeteries were quite common at or near

church buildings. Since this is becoming less possible for

most churches, columbariums are provided so cremated

remains might have a place of rest.

If you haven't seen

our columbarium,

please visit it the

next time you are

at our Oro Valley

site. If you would

like to make ar-

rangements to pur-

chase a niche,

please call the

church office. Plan-

ning ahead is one of the best gifts we can give our fami-

lies. You can relieve your family of a major decision by

making your burial plans now.

Our next Newcomers' Class: Sunday, July 29

10:15am - 12:00pm

This class, held in Katie’s Quarters in the Outreach

Center in OV, will give you the opportunity to learn

more about Resurrection, and you will have the

chance to decide whether or not you would like to

make Resurrection your church home. Pastor Al will

be in touch with you after you sign up for the class.

Please sign-up at church (Oro Valley & Saddle-

Brooke) or call the church office at 575-9901.

Spiritual Response

Life Groups are forming at Resurrection

and everyone is invited to join a group or

start a group. A Life Group brings people together to connect with each other and

to nurture a growing relationship with

God. Here are some frequently asked

questions about Life Groups.

Can I change membership from one Life Group to another? Yes. If for

any reason you want to change to join another Life Group, that is perfectly

OK. You should not feel any angst about doing so.

How many people are needed to form a Life Group? Typically 3 or more people are needed to start a Life Group. There is no limit to the total

number of people as the number of members is usually limited by the ability of

the meeting place to handle the members.

I’m away from the area during various times of the year. Can I still

be a member of a Life Group?

Yes. Many groups are well aware that members can’t always attend each and

every gathering.
