Considering the interdependencies of the world’s economies and the urgent need to address the global financial crisis, OSS is viewed as a key foundational element to secure a new era of prosperity. Companies who compete against each other have now come together under a public - private partnership, including the world’s leading technology, financial and insurance institutions servicing 60% of the world’s GDP, to deliver the OSS to the world as the main foundation for economic growth and security in the 21st century

During the next 18 months these organizations will be selected through a transparent RFP process offsetting geopolitical and monopolistic concerns to deploy the first global OSS platform delivering the following benefits at no cost to the end user including:

WHAT IS THE OPEN SOURCE SOLUTION (OSS)?

1.Open Source Software consists of the following two main systems:Global Logistics System (GLS) Remote IPACD Queries System (RIQS)

The GLS - is an open source software technology platform solution providing seamless end-to-end tools to manage the global supply chain of cargo movement by all shipping modes. GLS allows for easy internet access for all entities involved in global trade activities and a non-intrusive integration to in-house “legacy” vertical software systems. it also provides a common open platform for financial, insurance, multiple RFID and GPS tracking provider services thus maximizing their customers’ value proposition while expanding their market opportunity.

The RIQS – is a country specific server for the use by governments. RIQS receives required dynamic data preauthorized by data owners through the GLS. This data will allow governments to manage, analyze, and control data related to the country. RIQS will include open source software providing the following interfaces:

2.Global Network (World Logistics Council Network – WLCN)The WLCN will include the world’s leading 28 Technology, Finance and insurance companies selected through published guidelines and a transparent RFP process in order to offset geopolitical and monopolistic concerns. These companies will be the gateways to the core GLS system via portal or integrated access. In addition to the Gateway providers, multiple Integrated Technology Providers (ITP) will be qualified to provide data system integration and tracking system services.

3.Development Arm (World Logistics Council Development – WLCD) The WLCD is the development arm for WLCN. The WLCD board will be governed by the 12 technology gateway providers ensuring the contributions by those companies to the core GLS for the benefit to all participants on the network and to resolve any technical issues.

4.Global Business ModelThe following participants are involved in the global business model each receiving an unprecedented value proposition. The participant categories are:

GLS End Users - The use of GLS by shippers, carriers, logistics service providers, points of entry, governments, etc. is free while saving an average 30% in trade costs,15% on operation costs and meeting global trade compliance

Service Providers (Technology, Finance, Insurance, Tracking System Providers and Data System Integrators) – GLS service providers will have access to a new $6 trillion market opportunity by year 2020 while enhancing the value proposition to their own customers and expanding their market reach. This business model provides a win-win opportunity to technology providers and minimizes the competitive threat of open source software.

5.Independent Governance (Global Coalition For efficient Logistics – GCEL)GCEL is an independent non – profit body that brings together the public and private sectors whose combined efforts are required to deploy a major global solution to any national security industry such as the global trade. GCEL’s public / private governance structure provides the political oversight and technical monitoring of the profit driven organizations to deliver the GLS benefits globally and rapidly in a non-monopolistic manner while offsetting geopolitical concerns.

6.Global Deployment Program (Humawealth) Humawealth is a tangible program supported by governments, the World Bank and League of Arab States, etc. The Humawealth program will connect the strengths of the world community creating wellbeing across humanity. A rapid 18 Month global deployment program triggered through a trade lane in the mea region followed in close proximity by Asia, Europe and the Americas. Each lane will serve as the benchmark for the region validating the benefits of GLS and RIQS while triggering the WLCN.

Now that the OSS strategy, global deployment and unprecedented value proposition have been validated by GCEL’s public and private member organizations from around the world, the time has come to trigger this global initiative through the Humawealth program. the starting point will be in the MEA region through an event called the “Humawealth genesis”.

In the very month the G20 summit is to be held in London with all eyes on the G20 leaders to produce a plan, the “Genesis” at the core to global economic recovery will be launched with the support of the World Bank, OECD, governments from around the world and the top technology, finance and insurance companies with more than 39 million manpower servicing 60% of the world’s GDP.

This event will not be another series of speeches or display of statistics, rather the tangible outcomes of this event can be summarized as follows:

Provide equal opportunity for more public and private organizations in the MEA region to join GCEL

Publish the guidelines and set the date for the RFP process to select the WLCN Top technology, financial and insurance organizations from the world to commence creation of joint ventures with MEA region organizations in the effort to assist the MEA region companies to meet the RFP technical requirementsAnnounce the trade lane locations and the timeline for the Benchmark triggering the global deployment of OSS
