November Dates To Remember

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good…” Psalm 107:1

Clemson vs. USC Canned Food Drive

The Big Game is Nov. 29th, but your team can win even before the players hit the field. Once again, we will be collecting canned food items to donate to United Christian Ministries. Please bring canned items and non-perishable foods to the Chili Cook-off. There will be two tables set up, each representing either the Gamecocks or Tigers. The table/team with the most food items on it at the end of the night wins! In addition to a special prize you won’t want to miss, the winning team will get bragging rights and a trophy for the year!

What’s Happening Now @ GBC Look for more details and information in the coming weeks about these

upcoming church and community events.

New Church Office Hours Beginning this month, the church office hours will be Monday – Thursday,

8:00am – 1:45pm. The office will be closed on Fridays. This is a cost-saving move to keep gas & electric costs down, especially during the winter months. If you need assistance on Fridays, please contact the Pastor or the Deacon

of the Week. Their phone numbers are printed in the bulletin each week.

Our Gym Renovations are almost complete! We are looking forward to our first church-wide fellowship in the new facility. Now we get to pay for the progress we have made. The White Envelope Challenge gives us a good jumpstart on paying off our debt of $140,000. If every envelope is taken and returned, we can add over $5,000 to our Building Fund total. Thanks to those who have taken an envelope. It’s not too late for you to get yours. They are not due back until Sunday, November 23rd. We plan on announcing the amount raised at the Chili Cook-Off that night. 100% of the money raised through this fundraiser goes to debt reduction. No amount is too large or too small… It all adds up! Will you take one today?
