DescriptionTyco Fire and Integrated Solutions design,

manufacture and install a wide range of glazed

entrance doors and screens for commercial and

high volume usage. Fully automated doors are

also available dependant on customer’s

requirements. They are manufactured from cold-

drawn profiled steel or aluminium and are

suitable for both internal and external use.

ApprovalOur steel glazed doors and screens meet the fire

and smoke requirement of BS 476 Part 22 for

periods of up to 120 minutes.

SpecificationOur steel fire resistant glazed doors and screens

are tailor made for each installation utilizing

either a 60mm thermally insulated profile system

or 50mm non- insulated profile system depending

upon customer’s requirements. Both Profile

systems are available in either flush or overlap construction.

AppearanceAluminium doors are available in various anodised shades. Steel and aluminium profiles can be can be

polyester powder coated to a wide range of BS/RAL colours.

Stainless steel sections are also available.

Operation and controlAutomatic control is available for hinged and sliding doors whilst closing devices can be located in the floor or

jaws for manual doors.

Glazed Doors and Screensproduct profile

DescriptionThese Daloc External Doors are made of galvanised metal. They are designed for areas where strength, stability

and durability combined with fire safety is a priority. Typical applications include entrances to basements,

service doors to shops, industrial premises, multi-storey car parks and signal boxes, etc.

SpecificationThe doors have rolled seam edges and are constructed from 1mm galvanised sheet metal that is profiled, folded

and glued together. The use of modern machinery and

manufacturing methods mean that the glued door leaf has a

smooth and even surface.

Door LeafThickness: 54mm

Finish: Galvanised sheet metal on both faces. The

doors are supplied primed as standard.

Alternatively, the doors can be supplied unfinished.

Insulation: Mineral wool.

FrameStandard: Frame 21

Finish: Galvanised and primed or unfinished.

Insulation: Filled with mineral wool.

Manufactured in 1.5mm galvanised sheet metal. There are several

difference types available for example, with architrave on the front

side, on both sides or without architrave. The frame is supplied fully

assembled with no loose parts. It is fixed using the adjustable frame screws, which ensure rapid fixing and allow

adjustment after fixing.

ThresholdThe door is supplied with a rebated threshold in galvanised sheet metal. This can be cut away after installation

if not required.

DescriptionThe S20 Daloc Internal Door has been designed to meet the highest demands for a pre-painted internal door

for areas where fire safety and aesthetic requirements are combined. Typical applications schools, offices,

hotels, shops, hospitals and sheltered housing.

When there is a particularly high requirement for stability and durability, the Daloc S20 Fire Door can be used

to replace wooden doors even when fire resistance is not required.

ApprovalThis door is a CERTIFIRE approved fire door (Certificate- 248) tested to BS476 Part 22 to 240 minutes. The Door

also meets the relevant requirements of BS5588. Doors with seals fitted to the frame have successfully

completed panel smoke passage to BS476 Part 31-1. The S20 also has a sound reduction index of Rw 33dB,

tested to SS-EN ISO 140-3:95.

The door construction and manufacturing methods are

unique and the door is therefore patent-protected

(European patent 0332648).

SpecificationThe doorleaf has a straight edge and consists of 1 mm cold-

rolled steel that is profiled and bonded together with

concealed edge profiles to give the doorleaf a blemish free

smooth even surface.

loose parts. Fixing via adjustable frame screws,

which provide rapid fixing and allow adjustment

after fitting.

ThresholdThe Daloc S20 door is supplied with a stainless

sheet metal threshold bar. If required, the door can

be fitted with an optional oak threshold or with a

fitted flexible rubber wipe strip on the doorleaf.
