wagman.com Glatfelter Hall Wagman completed a $540,000 contract for Glaelter Hall Renovaons on the campus of Geysburg College. Glaelter Hall was built in 1888, upon a field stone foundaon wall that varied in thickness from 2 - 3’. Wagman’s Geotechnical Construcon group provided the required upgrades in the basement of the building, by underpinning the exisng foundaons in order to transfer the load of the building to the underpinning concrete and provide adequate capacity. The underpinning pits were performed in sequences. Each pit was dry-packed for 2 days following concrete placement. The project was awarded 1st place in the Category C-1 Historical Restoraon by the ABC Cumberland Valley Chapter in September 2015.
