Truma Combi is the smallest heating system in Europe, and it works with both gas and electricity (Optional). It is fitted as standard equipment with FrostControl, the current-free drainage/safetyvalve for freeze control. The water heats up quickly for long and pleasant showers. Available asan optionalion with a new control unit called CP PLUS. Collision sensor that cuts off the gas supplyin case of accident. Boiler/heater system Combi 4 (Optional Combi 6, Combi 6H, and Combi 6 Diesel) Heating with channelled air.

The Alde central heating system works on the same principle as a modern home. Quality heating. Convectors and radiators along the outer walls, and pipes in floor, heat up the air, which in turn heats up the furniture and surfaces. The rising, warm air forms abarrier in front of the windows, keeping the cold out. Boiler Alde 3020 HE Alde Compact 3020 HE is the heart of the heating system. Frost control is a drain/safety valve that automatically opens and drains the water heater when there is a risk of frost. McLouis has tested its campervans in the

climate chamber, basing itself on the EN

1646-1 standard, according to which a

vehicle brought to -15° must, once the heating

systems have been activated, reach an internal

temperature of 20° in 4 hours.

Menfys, in its basic configuration, fully satisfied the target at a little over 3 and a half hours, thus earning “grade 3” performance. The result is comparable to the performance of a medium motorhome (with length of 7.4 metres and rear central bed) which, with an internal volume double the campervan but very different build, bodywork and materials, reaches the target in the same time.
