As can be seen in the bottom rightpicture, the characteristic elementsof the “Metalline” series are itssingle-point fixings. The elegantall-glass appearance achievedthrough the elimination of frameprofiles imparts a sparse elegancethat is very much in vogue. Theglass mounting and locking func-tions are performed by a singledevice. The rear of the fitting takesthe form of a smooth surface andthe system features unlockingprotection to prevent unauthorisedopening.

The bespoke curved profile of the“Compactline” series enhancesthe feeling of system compactness.These continuous profiles are notonly robust but also satisfy thevery highest aesthetic demands.The design has been singledout for the iF award of “IndustrieForum Design Hannover”. All thefunctional elements are concealedwithin the profiles and there is nolimit to the range of applicationsand variation possibilities embod-ied in this system. With its proventechnology, it ensures maximumreliability combined with outstand-ing ease of use.

The “Delta” series is characterisedby its angled, prism-like profiles.This system offers excellent sealingand insulation thanks to the con-tact pressure applied to the bottomsealing strip by an automaticpivot-type extension actuator andconcave/convex vertical profileswith their integrated magnetic strips.The bottom pivoting mechanismincorporated in this system causesthe sealing strip to be automati-cally extended as the panels meetone another. This provides for out-standing stability and optimumbottom closure. Floor keepers arenot required. Hand rails can alsobe incorporated. This series designhas also been a recipient of theiF award.

The individual elements of theDORMA Hüppe Varitrans systemonly require a small amount ofspace when stacked out of theway. They can therefore beparked in any small pocket orcorner for maximum visualtidiness. The individual panelsmove so easily that transferto the stacking section and theparking operation itself could

not be easier. The requirementsof the manual and automaticmodes are, however, different.Consequently, it is advisableduring the planning phase toconsult DORMA Hüppe as towhich stacking track configura-tion is the best suited to yourapplication. The track system for the auto-matic EM operator ensures fasttraversing and particularly low-noise operation of the elements.Aside from curved configura-tions, it can also be used for acombination of several systems.

The type K is a new standardtrack system offering particularlycompact dimensions. Themechanically coded branchingjunctions with curves and trackswitches ensure easy operationof the panels. Curved config-urations are also possible withthis track type.

For right-angled branched con-figurations, we recommend ourmodel R track system and cross-roller carriers. The system canbe adapted to a wide range oflayout shapes and offers highload-bearing capacities. Guiderollers in the branching junc-tions and intersections ensurethat panels remain level asthey cross or change direction.
