Hello everyone,

On October 13th Bryce Wallace, and Galen Hartzel II, Mike Horn, Robert Pfen-

ning (a Senior DeMolay), and I had the great honor in being invested as Cheva-

liers.

I have been in DeMolay for six years now and my time is running short until I

am no longer an active member. Receiving the Chevalier has meant a lot to

me. It has motivated me to do better. Not only as a state officer for the young

men of Oregon DeMolay, but to be better in my personal life as well. I am very

thankful for everyone who has supported me throughout this journey and con-

tinues to do so. Without their support I would have drifted away from DeMolay

a long time ago. I certainly would not be where I am today.

For upcoming state events, the Winter Formal will be on December 8th. Every-

one is welcome. The dance starts at 7:00 p.m. and goes until midnight.

January 19th is our annual Winter Hawks night. This year, we are having it in

conjunction with the Rainbow Girls and Job's Daughters. It should be a great

night. Please see the information on how to get your tickets below.

February 16th, is our annual State Paintball at Impact Action Sports in Tualatin.

If you are playing please show up at 11:00 a.m. and dress according to the

weather. Lunch will be provided and all are welcome

Happy Thanksgiving,

Br. Shane Ferguson, State Master Councilor

Continuing Advisor Registration

DeMolay Advisors have had since September 1 to complete their Continuing Advisor Registration in

eScribe. The window for Continuing Advisor Registration closes on November 30. If you are one of

the many Advisors in Oregon that have not yet completed their registration, please do not procrasti-

nate any longer. If you have not completed your registration by November 30 you will no longer be

a registered DeMolay Advisor. By completed, I mean that you must fill out the Continuing Advisor

Registration Form online, get E.O. approval, and pay your $20 fee. Do not wait until November 30

to begin the process. If you do it will be too late. Do it today. It will only take you a few minutes.

Day of Comfort Obligatory Day

This special day should be held during the Thanksgiving-

Christmas season. As part of your Day of Comfort ob-

servance, it is strongly recommended that your Chapter

hold a fund-raising event to aid the less fortunate. Andy

Judson, MC of Capitol Chapter planned a donation drive for

“families in need’. The donations were of non-perishable

foods and coats, or winter clothing. A large container was

placed in the lobby of Salem Masonic Temple, and filled

over a four week period. What will your Chapter do?
