    INTRODUCTION

    trans"ortation system is built u" to "rovide the "ublic $ith

    convenient movements around the city. &o$ever# it is 'ar

    'rom enough to only bui ld u" a "ublic t rans"ortat ion

    system. roviding an easy and convenient access o' the

    service in'ormation to "assengers is o' great im"ortance.

    (ith "ro"er in'ormation held# "assengers can make their

    decision regarding route in a much e)icient manner and

    then take 'ul l advantages o ' the "ublic t rans"ortat ion

    services.

    in'ormation# such as te,t and ma"# are rather l imited to

    "rovide suitable in'ormation to "assengers. a"er%based

    ma"s cannot hold all "ubl ic tra)ic routes together $ith

    their in'ormation 'or their l imited s"ace# and te,t%based

    in'ormation are rather ambiguous in sho$ing s"atial

    in'ormation $ithout the su""ort o' ma"s. -rgani+ed in

    these methods# in'ormation reuired by "assengers is notsubstantial 'or route decision.
