ALEKS GREY
Being inspired by the likes of Coldplay and One Republic Aleks Grey has developed his anthemic pop sound and with his two latest singles gaining radio play in 20 countries across the globe and getting positive reviews and mentions in magazines and blogs. He’s played at festivals such as Malakoff Rockfestival (Biffy Clyro, Rival Sons, Kaiser Chiefs) and played on Norwegian national TV (around 1 mill. viewers).
In 2013 Aleks moved to Liverpool where he’s now currently based. He had his first tour in Norway in December 2014, and at the same time he gained radio play on BBC Merseyside. In February 2015 he started to collaborate with Blue Soap Music (PR & Radio plugging). In March he started to record his first EP ‘SOULS’ in the legendary Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. In May he released the first single off the EP, ‘Feel Alive’ and the second one, ‘Unstoppable’ in August.
With the releases he also did a live session for the BBC in Liverpool with his band, and also two video sessions for the largest student magazine in the UK ‘The Student Pocket Guide’.
Over the summer Aleks landed two sponsorship agreements. One with the London-based company ‘Plumen’ and the other is one of the largest mens-clothing companies in Norway, ‘Frislid’.
In November 2015 Aleks Grey is again booked for a show that’ll be aired on National TV in Norway and he’s invited to do another session for the BBC Merseyside at the legendary The Cavern in Liverpool.
