Cobra's assault on G.I. Joe's HQ, the Pit, proved unsuccessful: Dr. Mindbender sent in a
phalanx of B.A.T.S. against a decoy, as the androids were blasted by a Joe Skystriker. Even
when a Cobra Rattler arrived with bunker-buster bombs, Ace was able to knock the enemy plane
down with some fast maneuvering in the Skystriker. Although the assault failed, Destro and
Zartan's plan to free the Baroness proved successful. Meanwhile, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes,
having been freed from the control of Dr. Venom, confront Billy and head back to Broca Beach,
in order to end Dr. Venom's subversive control of the Brainwave Scanner once and for all...
