We have taken our immensely popular soup bases and managed to reduce the sodium content, while keeping all the fantastic flavour! Create all of your flavour-packed, mouthwatering soups from these fast, easy to prepare, cost effective universal bases. No added MSG. No Trans Fat.

Cream of Carrot, Honey & DillCHICKEN SOUP BASE EPYield Servings: 10-12 Preparation: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes

150 g GFS Butter1 kg Markon® Large Carrots, diced2 Markon Medium Onions, diced500 g Markon Idaho Potatoes, diced100 ml Markon Fresh Dill3 l GFS Chicken Soup Base (prepared according to package directions)350 ml GFS Honey200 ml GFS 35% Cream (or milk for a thinner consistency)To Taste Trade East® Salt & Pepper

In a large pot, over medium heat, melt the GFS Butter. Add the Markon carrots, onions, potatoes and fresh dill and sweat for 5-6 minutes. Cover with the GFS Chicken Soup Base and simmer until all the vegetables are tender. Purée with a hand blender or vertical food processor until an ultra smooth consistency. Add GFS Honey and GFS Cream and season with Trade East® Salt and Pepper.
