    JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY): To provide project management capabilities to technology projects that Invesco hdeemed important to the success of achieving their business goals. To own and deliver Technology and

    Business projects to achieve the project objectives within the agreed time limit, budget and specifications, whadhering to company project management and quality standards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

    Manage projects through a complete project lifecycle

    Consistently deliver results on time and on budget Define project objectives and deliverables that are in line with business and system strategies

    Lead reviews of requirements and designs with relevant stakeholders to obtain agreement and sign off of

    proposals

    Create and present accurate estimates of effort, costs and timescales for proposed projects and assist inprioritization

    Secure and coordinate the necessary resources for a project by working with appropriate line managers

    including any vendor or third party resources

    Coordinate user testing, ensuring issues are resolved in a pragmatic and appropriate manner

    Assist in maintaining an application issues log to capture any system or business process issues,

    enhancements, bugs or new business requirements

    Design and implement ongoing support arrangements for system delivered

    Ensure management and business stakeholders are kept fully up to date with progress

    Escalate issues and concerns effectively and in a timely manner

    Lead post implementation support

    Oversee creation of documentation for systems and processes

    Ensure projects adhere to company project management methodologies and standards, including

    appropriate documentation and controls, e.g. plan, budget, risk management and change control.

    Take a lead role on small units of work or phases of projects, ensuring the proposal and development ofeffective solutions meet objectives and are in line with business and system strategies

    Assist with developing improvements to team processes and procedures

    Lead and motivate staff on the project team through effective guidance and two-way communication

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.

    The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.

    Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project orassignment.

    Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pagerand/or cell phone.

    Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined

    WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

    Minimum 7 years of proven experience managing projects including responsibility for the whole project life

    cycle and completing projects on time and within budget

    Experience managing programs covering multiple projects and resource teams

    Will have managed multi-discipline projects with teams of up to 5 people and of a minimum length of 6

    months, ideally in a matrix management environment

    Experience creating detailed cost / benefit analysis

    Able to demonstrate knowledge and use of a structured project management techniques

    Experience analyzing business or technical problems and proposing and implementing solutions Good understanding of and experience with people management, regulations, systems and procedures

    Project Management literate with good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products, including Project and

    Office

    Knowledge of change management, process documentation and testing tools

    Broad knowledge of systems and business processes in use for the relevant business areas

    Ideally will be able to show experience managing and negotiating with external parties / suppliers

    Excellent verbal (must be capable of communicating clearly and effectively to senior business users, ITmanagement and internal team members) and written skills (including ability to produce process

    flowcharting, requirements, project plans, and formal business solution documents)

    Distribution Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for theDistribution function.

    Understanding of differences between the Retail and Institutionaldistribution processes and players.

    Equity Investments Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for the

    Equity Investments function.

    Understanding of Investments data and market data supporting

    investment processes.

    A strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and basic Derivativeinstruments used with the financial services.

    InvestmentOperations

    Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for theFront-, Mid-, and Back-office functions within Investment Operations.

    Understanding of Investments data and market data supporting

    investment processes.

    A strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and basic Derivativeinstruments used with the financial services.

    Corporate Broad knowledge of the systems and business process included in HR

    and/or Finance.

    Experience with configuration for Oracle Financials, specifically in relation

    to Financial and Procurement modules (emphasis on AP, PO, GL and FA).

    Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS covering HR configuration and

    Position Management. Familiar with HR transactions in HRMS module.

    eTechnology

    Broad knowledge of Internet technologies and website best practices Experience managing external and/or internet website projects

    Website development, design and/or usability experience preferred

    Knowledge of RUP agile software development methodology preferred

    Alternative

    Investment Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for the

    Alternative Investments function.

    Understanding of Investments data and market data supporting

    investment processes.

    A strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and basic Derivativeinstruments used with the financial services.

    FORMAL EDUCATION: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

    A Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science is

    preferred or commensurate relevant work experience

    Formal project management training and/or qualification preferred
