2008-2010 Minnesota Department of Human Services. Consulting on the development of a plan to assist Waite House community center in promoting recovery among children affected by the 35W bridge collapse (52 children and counselors were on the school bus on the 35W bridge during the collapse).

2008-2009 National Center for Child Traumatic Stress. Expert reviewer – Core concepts and core components curriculum review.

2007-2010 Detroit-Wayne County Department of Human Services, MI., and Implementation Sciences International. Research coordinator for Detroit-Wayne County PMTO implementation, and training mentor (with Dr. Marion Forgatch) for 14 mental health professionals and 12 child welfare professionals completing an 18 month PMTO certification program.

2006-2007 US Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Training and technical assistance consultant to Safe Start program on implementation of evidence-based practices in shelter and housing settings.

2005-2007 Minneapolis Public Schools. Consultant to Safe Schools Healthy Students grant (U. S. Dept. of Education) and Robert Wood Johnson Caring Across Communities project. Training technical assistance on implementing trauma-informed evidence-based practice for refugee students.

2004- Family Housing Fund, Minneapolis, MN. Created and coordinated a comprehensive curriculum for supportive housing providers on child and family mental health, trauma, and children’s healthy development.

2000-2005 Tubman Family Alliance. Research Director: Oversaw evaluation activities for all programs.
