ICON Rights for TA’s & Clerical Staff

• Choose from different ICON roles/rights:– Instructor/Designer, Instructor/Grader– TA/Designer, High-level TA, Low-level TA– Course Builder– Student, Guest Student– Preview User

• Instructors of Record automatically enrolled; can request additions.

• TAs limited to their sections unless instructor requests otherwise.

What Can You Do with the Content Tool?

• Link to external web sites.• Link to ICON quizzes, discussions, self-

assessments, and other tools.• Link to Library Reserve materials.

What Can You Do with the Content Tool?

• Add multiple files at one time.• Restrict access to links based on group

membership or completion of online tasks.• Import content from another ICON course.• Track student use.
