WHAT IS A BRAND?

Aninstitution’sbrandismadeupofitsname,vision,mission,design,logo,colorsandtone.Justlikewithanyotherbusiness,remainingconsistentwithalloftheseelementsisessentialtoupholdingTTUHSC’sbrand.Buildingastrongbrandallowsustoconnectwithinternalandexternalstakeholdersincludingstudents,employees,fans,donorsandpatients. Ifwetakethesestepsnow,wewilldevelopastrongbrandthatpeoplecanidentifywith.Wewillalsocreateasenseofloyaltyinallaspectsofourreachnowandwellintothefuture.

ABOUT TTUHSC

TexasTechUniversityHealthSciencesCenter(TTUHSC)isdedicatedtoeducation,patientcareandresearchandhasmadeanimpactonthehealthofWestTexasandbeyondformorethan40years.

Todate,wehavetrainedmorethan10,000healthcareprofessionals,andwemeetthehealthcareneedsofmorethan2.5millionpeoplewholivethroughoutavast108-countyareastretchingfromtheTexasPanhandlesouthtothePermianBasinandwestintoEasternNewMexico.

Wehaveestablishedourselvesasaleaderineducationandpatientcareandarebuildingatop-rankedresearchenvironmentwithsignificantstudiesunderwayinareaslikeaging,cancer,reproduction,geneticdiseasesandruralhealth.Inaddition,ourlocationadjacenttoTexasTechUniversityprovidesauniqueopportunityforadvancementofknowledgethroughscientificcollaborations.

Beginningin1969asTexasTechUniversitySchoolofMedicine,TTUHSChasevolvedintoasix-schooluniversitywithcampusesinAbilene,Amarillo,Dallas/FortWorth,Lubbock,MidlandandOdessa.In2013,TTUHSCElPasowassignedintolegislationasastand-aloneuniversity.
