The SEAI One Good Idea school competition will encourage your students to play their part and make a difference. Students first submit their One Good Idea to save energy. Then create a one- minute film and campaign to spread the word to their family, friends, and community. This year, four regional events will be held in Omniplex cinemas around the country. Your team could get to see their film on the big screen. Stage 1 Deadline 18/10/2019 Register now and get your team working on their proposal Choose and research a topic on saving energy and climate action from one of the categories on our website. Teams are made up of 2-6 students Primary schools: 3rd- 6th class only • Post Primary schools: Junior classes (1st-3rd years) or Senior Classes (4th-6th years) Complete the application online at www.seai.ie/onegoodidea Proposals will be judges and shortlisted teams will move to Stage 2. • Shortlisted teams will move on to Stage 2. Schools will be notified by 18th November. Stage 2 Deadline 31/01/2020 Create a 1 minute film and promote your awareness campaign Teams will need to submit their 1-minute film with a PowerPoint presentation online. Four regional events will take place between 24th- 28th February (at various locations around the country) Stage 3 National Final April 2020 Winners from each regional event will compete at the National Final in Dublin. Stage 1 Deadline 18/10/2019

Register now and get your team working on their proposal

• Choose and research a topic on saving energy and climate action from one of the categories on our website.

• Teams are made up of 2-6 students

• Primary schools: 3rd- 6th class only
