Standardized Exam Students may take standardized multiple-choice exams remotely or on the Portland campus for the following required courses. Please check with your advisor to make sure the exam will fulfill a requirement for your Department of Technology major: College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) o ACC 110 Financial Accounting for Decision-Making - ATL and Tech Mgmt majors o BIO 101/102 Biological Foundations/Experiences - Science Exploration (SE) core for CYB and Info Tech majors o ECO 101/102 Introduction to Macro/Microeconomics o MAT 108 College Algebra Dantes Standarized Subject Tests (DSST) o ITT 181 Computing and Information Technology o ITP 250 Management Information Systems o MAT 120 Introduction to Statistics Credential Review Industry credentials such as A+, Security+ and CCNA do not result in course credit through credential review. They can be used as a significant part of an academic portfolio (see below). Academic Portfolio Students with appropriate learning from experience may be able to gain Department of Technology faculty approval to complete up to 9 credits of ITP/ITS/ITT requirements. Before beginning a portfolio, students must meet with the PLA office to enroll in the required, non-credit bearing, free, online portfolio development workshop in Brightspace. Undergraduate portfolios are charged $50 per credit hour for the final Technology faculty evaluation. **Some Applied Technical Leadership and Technology Management students may be required to complete ITT 400 portfolios. ITT 400 portfolios are separate from the 9 credits of other portfolio work described above.
