The G.E.S. English Medium School - ICSE, is a co-educational school

established and managed by the Goregaon Education Society. Knowledge

imparted here aim at promoting an ‘All round development’ of the child’s

personality, in the ambience of the Indian culture.

The thrust is focussed on ‘Values - Physical, Mental, Emotional and

Spiritual.’ The school is an unaided institution and prepares the students for

the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination, affiliated

to the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

PATTERN OF EDUCATION

We, at G.E.S. create a congenial atmosphere to inculcate a 'desire to learn'.

This desire helps children to assimilate more easily what they are taught, to

shape their personality by expanding their vision, broadening the sphere of

knowledge and consequently increasing their self confidence.

SECTIONS:

PRE-PRIMARY - emphasis here is on the process of learning through 'Play

and Fun'. The child learns the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic (3R's)

through - Games, Art, Craft and Music.

PRIMARY - focuses on 'Fi rm Foundat ion' in LANGUAGES,

MATHEMATICS, SOCIAL SCIENCES, FINE ARTS etc.

SECONDARY - aims to develop children into responsible 'YOUTH'..

Awareness, Sensitivity and Positive Contribution of the Education gained to

the society, will be a gift of G.E.S. to our motherland and the globe at large.

The TEXTBOOKS are supplemented with projects and other extracurricular

activities.

Today’s Children, are tomorrow’s Citizens

The Goal of Education

When there is righteousness in the Heart,

There will be beauty in the Character.

When there is beauty in the Character,

There will be harmony in the Home.

Where there is harmony in the Home,

There will be order in the nation.

When there is order in the nation,

There will be Peace in the World.
