Traditional clothes in Germany

Many Germans’ everyday clothes are just like ours. Only difference is that in traditional days they wear different clothes. In winter they wear thick coats ,gloves, scarfs and layers of this and that.

Traditional clothesMen wear leghoses which is similar to the straps cowboys wear. Woman wear Dirndls which in the winter style dirndl has heavy, warm skirts and aprons made of thick cotton, linen, velvet or wool, and long sleeves. Summer style is made out of cotton. Girls and boys wear the exact same thing as the men and woman do.

FestivalsEach fall the festival Beethovenfest Bonn honours Ludwig van Beethoven in his native city of Bonn with a program that reflects the composer's approach to music. Oktoberfest is the world's largest fair held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in October .The Cranger Kirmes is a funfair in Germany, located in near the Rhine–Herne Canal in Crange in the city of Herne. It is the second biggest fair in Germany, only behind the Oktoberfest.

filled with apples flavoured with sugar, cinnamon, raisins and breadcrumbs – and has been popular since the 18th century.

3. Rote grutzeThis red fruit pudding is a popular dessert in the North. It’s made from black and red currants, raspberries and sometimes strawberries or cherries, which are cooked in their juice and thickened with a little corn starch or cornflour. It’s served with cream, vanilla sauce or milk.
