Something NEW is coming for Rising Second-Year Students!Mark your calendar for January 28, 2020! That is when your student will have the opportunity to apply for 2020-2021 academic yearon-campus housing.

Apartments in North Avenue and on west campus will become dedicated homes for second-year students, providing ample roomsfor them to live with their peers. They will have access to a dining hall, gym, workout room, and meeting/study rooms, and they canpurchase parking nearby. Students will enjoy social events and have the convenience of academic, health, and well-being resourcesall within a few steps from their front door. Second-year student apartments will provide a unique opportunity for support, development,and fostering as students transition from first year to second year. Programs will be engaging and beneficial for your student.

Why should a student remain on campus for the second year? That’s easy! No prepayment or deposit needed, simple onlineapplication, peer roommates, and an apartment with their own private bedroom. Also, Stamps Health Services, Campus RecreationCenter, the library, and the Student Center are some of the resources that are convenient to students who live on campus, not tomention being close to student organizations and campus events.

Living on campus helps students maintain connections that can enhance academic success and personal growth.Second-year apartments are the perfect choice for your student to live, study, and connect.

APARTMENT STYLEApartment style bedrooms are furnished with an extra-longtwin bed, chest of drawers, desk, desk chair, and wardrobe.

Each living room includes a sofa, end table, coffee table, anda dining table with chairs. The kitchen comes equipped with astove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Bedroomsand living area have either carpet or wood laminate flooring.

6 bedroomAPARTMENT STYLEFour & Six BedroomsEach apartment features four to six private bedrooms, two to threebathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and dining/study area.Fully furnished with an open kitchen and large windows, eachapartment offers a great living space.

All campus housing includes utilities & high-speed internet access.

A rising second-year student is one who matriculated atGeorgia Tech in summer 2019, fall 2019, or spring 2020, and who was accepted as a freshman according to admission records.

You are considered a risingsecond-year student evenif your class status is asophomore, junior, or seniordue to your AP credit hours.

• Senior (90+ hours)• Junior (60-89 hours)• Sophomore (30-59 hours)• Freshmen (0-29 hours)

Room assignments are madeusing a room selectionnumber based on your classstatus and the number ofcredit hours earned atGeorgia Tech at the end ofthe fall semester.

Students who have thesame ranking will berandomly sorted.
