    In8thgradestudentswillbestudyingtheirhomestateofGeorgia.Studentswilldiscussgeography,government/civics,economics,andhistoricalunderstanding.StudentswillalsolookatcurrenteventsandGeorgia'srelationshipwiththeUnitedStatesasthe13thcolonyand4thstatetojointheUnion.GradesandAssignmentsStudentswillbegradedbycategoriesandpercentages.

    Tests50% Quizzes25% Daily/Homework15% Participation10%
