Terms and Conditions

The following equines are being sold as impounded or

voluntary release animals under the authority of Chapter 13 of

Title 4 of O.C.G.A (Humane Care for Equines Act). The sale of

these equines is on an “as is” basis without any representation

regarding registration, physical condition, or acceptable uses

of the equines. The Georgia Department of Agriculture may

refuse to accept any bids made at this auction or any future

auction.

No person(s) who has had equines impounded, or a case

under investigation related to the Humane Care for Equines

Act, may bid. Management reserves the right to refuse

any bid from persons deemed unsuitable. All bidders will be

required to show appropriate identification in order to

receive a bid number and to take custody of the equines.

Buyers are required to notify GDA prior to relocation or

custody change of the equines. Equines will be monitored

for compliance with the Humane Care for Equines Act for

12 months post sale. Violation of these terms and

conditions will result in prompt regulatory action by GDA.

The successful bidder(s) must be prepared to tender the price

by cash, cashier’s check, money order or personal check

with a letter of credit from a bank and move the equine(s)

from the sale facility no later than Sunday, November 15,

2015 3 p.m.

New owners should provide halters and lead lines as well as an

appropriate trailer for transport. Management reserves the

right to withhold loading if transport trailer is deemed unsafe

for occupancy or road use.

Dogs will not be allowed at the GDA sale.

Due to budget cuts, catalogs will not be printed for

distribution just a sale list.

Get off on Exit 98 (Highway 11)

Turn Right and go through Mansfield to

Charles Elliot Wildlife State Park.

Turn left as though you were going into the park.

Go about 1 mile. You will see a barn on the left.

Go through green gate.

Coming East from Augusta:

Take I-20 West to Exit 98 (Highway 11) Take Left

off exit and now follow directions from Above.
