Features & benefits
> Achieving optimal resolution at all depths Step-frequency technology enables users to achieve the best possible resolution at each investigation depth. Penetration and the highest resolution are simultaneously achieved with only ONE single antenna array. No need to employ different frequency antennas to adapt to different depths.
> Unprecedented area survey speed (work rate) Very high scan rates and an efficient sampling method enables GeoScope Mk IV to provide full resolution 3D imagery with a 2.4 m antenna array at more than 80 km/h with a sampling grid of 7.5 by 7.5 cm. Work rates of above 20 ha/h are pos-sible in appropriate locations.
> High-resolution, full 3D subsurface imagery 7.5 cm channel spacing in the antenna array combined with 3 GHz bandwidth ensures high-density sampling as required by utility mapping, military applications and archaeology prospecting.
> Wide range of antenna arrays with uniformy response across the elements The Mk IV is compatible with all DX and DXG Series antenna arrays ranging up to 3.3 m in width.
GeoScope TM Mk IV3D Step-Frequency GPR
GeoScope Mk IV ground penetrating radar (GPR) raises the standard for high-speed, high density three-dimensional, subsurface imaging. The Mk IV is the fourth generation GeoScope and further exploits the application of step-frequency technology to GPR. GeoScope Mk IV enables high-density, high-speed 3D data capture with the unique combination of deep subsurface penetration coupled to high-resolution. Optimal signal bandwidth and the best possible resolution at each investigation depth result in large swaths of the subsurface surveyed at higher speeds with no sacrifice in imaging detail.

Air-Coupled Antenna Arrays3D Step-Frequency GPRDX Antenna Array Series
DX Antenna Arrays Series represents the latest innovation in three-dimensional ground penetrating radar (GPR) data collection. The air-coupled antenna array is suitable for applications where the antenna needs to be elevated off of the surface for fast road and railroad inspection, and landmine/improvised explosive device (IED) detection.
Antenna arrays allow scanning of up to 41 channels over a continuous 200MHz to 3GHz frequency range. The antenna arrays collect three-dimensional GPR data with dense line spacing. DX Antenna Arrays Series provides high resolution at shallow depths and deeper penetration compared to traditional air-coupled pulse-based GPR systems.
The unique wideband antenna design consists of bow-tie monopole antennas whereby the combination of the different transmitter/receiver antenna elements allow the user to collect three-dimensional data along multiple survey lines with a channel spacing of 7.5 cm. The antenna is equipped with a standard 5/8” thread mount for easy mounting of a global positioning system (GPS) antenna or TotalStation prism.

Interface tracing
Examiner offers an advanced analysis tool for auto-matic interface/layer tracing. With a single click, it is possible to follow and trace an interface for kilome-ters using an automatic 3D tracing algorithm. The end result is visualization on screen as depth profiles and color coded maps.
Export & extensibility
Examiner imagery can be directly copied and past-ed into other applications for easy reporting or saved in the most commonly used image formats. It is also possible to generate a video to dynamically display how the data varies along a user selectable depth range. 3D processed data can be exported to a fully documented format which can then be imported into end-user developed software as well as leading third party analysis and reporting tools. Annotations, radar imagery and interfaces can be exported with rendered GPS data to various formats that are compatible with popular software such as AutoCAD (DXF) and Google Earth (KMZ). Traced interfaces can also be saved as point clouds in comma separated value files, or sum-marized in a comprehensive report with detailed sta-tistics.
