Located in Sicily, Italy there is one of the worlds most active volcanoes, called Mount Etna. Mount Etna formed when one of the earths crusts overlapped

another piece of the earths crusts or otherwise known as destructive plate boundries.

Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming holds one of the worlds largest hot springs. The temperature of a hot spring ranges from 145.4 degrees Fahrenheit to 188.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Features influence an area such as the Grand canyon because it attracts people and tourists to this area to see this feature. It impacts society by

learning about it on the internet, textbooks, newspapers, or television. Nature’s beauty of the rock formations keep people coming back

year after year.

The Giant’s Causeway is an

area of about 40,000

interlocking columns covering

the northeast coast of Northern

Ireland.

The Giant’s Causeway was formed from intense volcanic activity about 60 million years ago. The size of each column formed was determined by the speed at which the lava cooled.

Earthquakes are natural ground

motions caused as the earth releases

energy. During earthquakes, the plates move past

one another.

• The Giant’s Causeway is Northern Irelands biggest tourist attraction.

• Earthquakes impact society by causing tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and landslides.

Places of ancestry: Middle East, Greece

Description: These places are covered by rocks, desert type and

lots of dry formats. Middle East is located on the eastern coast of

the Mediterranean Sea.

This feature was made up of lots of big rocks, huge lakes, solid minerals, mountains, hills, and lots of real grass.

These features and events influence the area there located by the way the place is located and/or how it was 1,000 years ago. They impact society because people all over the world get fascinated by the unique features and would like to visit it. They have an impact on everyday life because there’s always something on the news talking about what happens around the world ;good or bad.
