Magenta ITALY since 1942Started business as a manufacturer of door closers.At the beginning of the 60s, it expanded its product range to patch fittings and became the first company in the world to manufacture both door closers and patches. CASMA made its entry into the field of “TEMPERED GLASS“.

Since then, the company has been fully dedicated to researching and developing products and commercial strategies in the field of the “TEMPERED GLASS“ applications MADE IN EUROPE, registering more then 160 patents, opening distribution companies in Spain, England, USA and Benelux, establishing a representative office in Poland and, finally, consolidating a strategic partnership with TEUFELBESCHLAG under the brand of GWT by CASMA. Today CASMA employs more then 100 people in Italy and abroad, manufacturing over 150,000 installations every year distributed all over the world.

TEUFELBESCHLAG GmbH Türkenfel GERMANY since 1975 Started as a manufacturer of door rails for “TEMPERED GLASS DOORS” At the end of the 80’s, it expanded its product range to shower cabins systems and the very first sliding system “PRAKTICA” was invented .TEUFELBESCHLAG made its entry into the field of “SLIDING SYSTEMS FOR TEMPERED GLASS“ . Since then, the company has been fully dedicated to researching and developing products and systems and in 1982 the first stacking sliding system with DOUBLE-C upper track was launched .In the middle of the 80’s TEUFELBESCHLAG was one of the first companies approaching hardware for “LAMINATED GLASS” for banks application.In the 1991 thanks to the successful results of its production, a new plant was built in Türkenfeld, 40km west of Munich, present location of the company. Today TEUFELBESCHLAG employs more then 30 people and thanks to its commercial choices and superb quality is present all over Europe and abroad. GWT history.

GWT is the abbreviation of GLASS WALL TECHNOLOGY.It was born in the ‘90s as the name of a company with its headquarter in Israel.GWT was a joint venture of CASMA, TEUFELBESCHLAG, and Shai Shick of Jerusalem, common distributor for the first two companies in Israel. The mission of GWT was to promote and distribute folding and stack away systems using the technical know-how of TEUFELBESCHLAG and Shai Shick and the international sales network of CASMA.For many reasons, GWT as a company was never successful, and at the end of the ‘90s the partners decided to close the business.Anxious to utilize its strong international sales network, and seeing all the advantages of GWT products, CASMA bought the GWT brand from Glass Wall Technology and undertook the challenging task of creating a GWT BY CASMA Division, with the help of Shai Shick and TEUFELBESCHLAG. Thanks to communication through a series of high-impact

catalogues, the support of all the partners and the superb quality of the products, initial results were gratifying but not sufficient. This was in early 2000.The true impetus to development did not come until two years later: the first important projects and structural internal development transformed the GWT by CASMA division into an authentic business unit able to assist the sales network with all the necessary information.The cooperation under the GWT umbrella prospered through meetings, market information, and new products, resulting in mutual synergy and growing confidence between the two companies.The celebration of the CASMA-TEUFELBESCHLAG partnership under the GWT brand arrived at GLASSTEC 2006 trade show, with the two companies exhibiting together for the first time.Today CASMA and TEUFELBESCHLAG are exhibiting together again at GLASSTEC 2008 trade show, presenting innovation and technology as “GENUINE EUROPEAN MANUFACTURERS” and sending another message to the sales network: GWT by CASMA is the export brand of TEUFElBESCHlAG.
