Student Learning Summary

As a 2nd year campus, we are using STAAR data from previous school years at the students' home campus. We are also using interim STAARbenchmarking from prior years due to 2019-2020 being cut short due to Covid-19. Our performance contract goals are outlined below with prior year data.

*60% of students at YWLA will meet or exceed progress on reading and math STAAR.

-no firm data to support this goal yet, benchmark and interim data included

*50% of students categorized as economically disadvantaged will meet or exceed progress on reading and math STAAR.

-no firm data to support this goal yet, benchmark and interim data included

*80% of all students at YWLA will be reading on or above grade level by the end of the school year as measured by a reading screening tool.

-no firm data to support this goal yet, benchmark and interim data included

*Less than 20% of a gap will be seen between all student groups at YWLA as measured by STAAR performance.

-Based on 2019 STAAR data, there is less than a 20% gap between student groups (not including out of district students).

Student Learning Strengths

More than 95% of YWLA students reached approaches on the 2019 STAAR on all tests taken.

There is less than a 20% gap between demographic student groups on the 2019 STAAR test.

More than 50% of our current students scored at the master's level on the 2019 STAAR test.

YWLA students did not take STAAR due to Covid-19. They did, however, take a preview assessment. Data from the preview assessment is below:
