General Information
DescriptionStudents will work and solve math problems associated with their individual grade level. They will be exposed to each curriculums standards and be familiarized with concepts required of that grade level. These skills will be connected to real world situations as well to aid in their understanding. Each student can and will have a better understanding of word problems and how they connect in the real world.
Expectations and GoalsStudents can and will work on all mathematical problems given to them. They will request aid when needed. They will accept redirection if they become off task. They will work on all mathematical problems with a positive “I CAN” attitude.
My grading policy is as follows
30% Summative Assessments (Unit Tests, Projects)30% Formative Assessments (Weekly Assessments, TOTD)30%Classwork/Participation Grade (Warm-Ups, Notebooks, Class work)10% Home work
Class rules and expectations:
Respect yourself and others. Keep feet, hands, and objects to yourself. Talk with permission Come Prepared

Open Mind ready to learnPens, Pencils, PaperNotebook: (Binder with headings for the following notes, warm-up, classwork, and homework.)
Optional MaterialsTechnology will be allowed when Technology sign is in place. Tissues and Hand Sanitizer will work.
Textbooks and Workbooks
We will issue a Go Math textbook and workbook and you will be required to bring both with you each day.
