Thomas Gage was born in 1719 In England He was the governor of the providence of Massachusetts He was a British General From 1763 to 1775 he was a commander and chief of

the North American forces.

What

In April 18 1775 General Gage Ordered 700 men to march to concord to capture colonial powder.

After the fighting in Lexington and concord Gage fond himself beseen in boston by a colnial army.

In Concord Massachuttes It all started march 5th 1770. He atempted to seize colnial armies

on april 18th 1775.

Why

Once the stockpile of weapons and munitions were gone, the British would have an easier time suppressing the revolution.

Outcome

General Gage got besieged in Boston after his failed attempt and taking weapons from the colonists.

He was removed from his position as the General and returned home from England.

Gage died a few years later.

Impact

General Gage assaulted the colonies, they shunned him and he was no longer welcome in the colonies after that.

He did not succeed at all, he got sent home after his mission failed.
