OverviewOverviewThese procedures are intended to instruct personnel in the general duties and field methods used in performing Roadway Inventory. It cannot supply answers to all questions that may arise nor does it address every situation that exists in the field, but it will give personnel an understanding of their principal duties.

Some ingenuity may be required of the field and office personnel in dealing with unique situations which cannot receive specific attention in these guidelines. Supervision should be consulted as soon as practicable on doubtful issues.
