General Information (COMPLETED SAMPLE FORM ATTACHED)
Award – The Professional Honor Society (PHS) was instituted by CAAR in 1996. Nominees for the PHS will earn points throughout the year in four focus areas:
• Association Involvement – Participation in CAAR educational & networking programs/events.
• Professional Development – Participation in other real estate related educational activities.
• Leadership & Volunteer Participation – Lead or volunteer with CAAR, Virginia REALTORS® (state association),National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) or other real estate related organizations.
• Production – Success in either production of sales or ability as a managing Broker.
Criteria – In order to apply for PHS, you MUST include the following:
• Be a Primary or Secondary REALTOR member in good standing with CAAR.
• Provide the following supportive documentation to accompany your completed PHS form.1. CAAR Member Profile – Email [email protected] to request a CAAR Member Profile, which will list all
the CAAR activities a member has participated in the current or past year(s) (e.g., Master Groups, ProjectTeams, education, events, awards, etc.).
2. NAR Member Detail – Click here for detailed instructions. This shows your active designations andcertifications.
3. Production Printout – Click here for detailed Paragon production report instructions. You may also use areport from your office if desired.
• Obtain the minimum of points required per focus area.
• You will need to obtain the minimum total points of 75, to qualify for membership for the PHS.

• Required CE courses or seminars for licensure of REALTOR® membership should not be included in
the list (e.g., Agency Law Review, Contracts, Legal Updates, Ethics, Fair Housing, etc.).
• Use the tables below to list the title of the course, class, conference, etc., date and location to receive
points (e.g., Realtor Property Resource, 03/13/19, CAAR Office). If you need more room, include an
additional sheet of paper.
o You do not need to use the table if an activity is already on your CAAR Member Profile.
