RESOLUTIONS & CHANGES TO THE CONSTITUTION
The constitution of the Manitoba Wildlife Federation defines a resolution as a “written statement and proposed solution to an issue or concern” and “may contain a change to the Federation’s policies, programs, and procedures”. Resolutions that are passed by a 2/3 majority form the policy and guidelines that the President and Executive Committee follow on behalf of the membership. The deadline to submit a resolution or change to the constitution must be received by the Manitoba Wildlife Federation by February 10, 2020. Submitted resolutions and changes to the constitution will be reviewed by the Executive Committee and mailed back to all affiliate clubs for discussion at the club level. All resolutions will be brought to the floor for discussion followed by voting at our Annual General Meeting and Convention on April 18, 2020 in Winnipeg. If your club is wanting to submit a resolution or change to the constitution, please use the template provided to your club. A representative from your club must be in attendance at the meeting to bring the resolution to the floor.
NOMINATIONS FOR THE MWF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The President and Executive Committee Members of MWF are responsible to promote the aims and objectives of the Federation, act on the direction provided by resolutions passed by the membership, interpret policy and make decisions to run the organization efficiently and effectively. At the 2020 Annual General Meeting elections will be held to fill five (5) two-year director positions and one (1) one-year director position. Submitted nominations must be received by the Manitoba Wildlife Feder-ation by February 10, 2020. In accordance with the constitution, all nominees must be a 2020 affiliate member. A list of all nominees will be sent to all affiliate clubs for discussion at the club level before the Annual General Meeting. Please use the template provided to your club to submit a nomination for the Executive Committee. The nominee must be in attendance at the Annual General Meeting and Convention on April 18, 2020 and will be given five (5) minutes to address the membership prior to the election.

9th Annual Wild at Heart Fundraising Banquet The Wild at Heart Fundraising Banquet has been moved to April!
Instead of hosting our fundraising banquet in the fall, we have moved it into the spring, in an attempt to avoid the hunting and fishing seasons and to encourage passionate conservationists to attend the banquet and to sup-port the education, outreach, programs and policy work that the Manitoba Wildlife Federation strives for.
We anticipate our Annual General Meeting and Wild at Heart Fundraising Banquet to continue as a combined event and will proceed to book this event in the spring season.
Wild at Heart is about celebrating our outdoor heritage. We need your help to make this Wild at Heart great. The Clubs and members have always been the lifeblood and strength of this organization and that hasn't changed. We need your help!
For more information, please see the included solicitation letter for event, sponsorship and ticket details. If you have any questions regarding the Wild at Heart Fundraising Banquet, please don't hesitate to call the MWF office at 204-633-5967.
